[Update: We just realized the prices are in GBP and not Euros. We've adjusted the prices accordingly. Our apologies!]

Dearest HotelChatter readers, Forgive us for we have sinned and during the season of Lent! Hail Mary, Mother of God, pray for our soul.

We were so tempted not to tell you about this deal because we wanted to keep it all for ourselves. See, we are headed to London over Easter weekend and have been scouring the hotel rates. Until today we didn't see anything that we really liked. That is, until we received our Tablet Hotels newsletter and spied this deal at the Baglioni Hotel near Hyde Park.

For a two-night stay at 230 GBP night ($456), you get the third night free, along with unlimited broadband internet access, unlimited movies on demand, breakfast and our fave, a personalized Easter egg. Yeah, that probably locked it up for us.

Thus, we couldn't resist. And at the same time we didn't want to publicize it for fear that you would snatch it up as well. Seriously, we need to go mass and repent today.

Then when we looked at the cancellation fee and learned we had up until two days before our check-in date to cancel, we decided to go ahead and book it. Details are after the jump.

Tara Reid Needs a Room for her Shoes

As host of the E! show "Taradise", Tara "Almost Was a Has Been But Now I Host An E! Show" Reid has been travelling all over Europe, enlightening young Americans about how to drink your face off in different countries.

But when Tara hit up London's Baglioni Hotel she made an odd non-sexual, non-alcoholic request.

According to the ever trustworthy tabloids, Tara " booked herself into one of our most expensive suites at around $2,000 a night but then requested a second room too to keep all her shoes. It was absolutely bizarre. She said she d collected all these shoes while she d been travelling around Europe, but quite why she has to house them separately remains a mystery..."

Looks like behind the hard-partying Jersey girl with a busted stomach is an Imelda Marcos waiting to come out!

Exporting Mariah Via Baglioni Hotel

Dear London:

Thank you so much for taking all of our most annoying stateside celebrities and giving them a home in your fine city.

We know you have done so much for us already, taking Madonna and Gwenyth without batting an eyelash, however, you have out done yourself this time--Mariah Carey? Thank you, thank you so much.
-------

Apparently, Mariah recently celebrated her 35th birthday at the 66 room Baglioni Hotel, which overlooks Kensington Gardens.

Before entering the hotel, Mariah was forced to drive around the block as the hotel staff had failed to lay out the required red carpet lined with white candles. Further reports have her traveling with over 50 suitcases. She is a bellhops dream, is she not?

We know you get your own assigned butler at Baglioni, but asking him to light 50 candles and lift 50 suitcases seems a tad out of scope, don't ya think?

Oh yeah, and at her B-Day bash some poor baker was commissioned to make a life size cake of 35 year old squealer.

-------
Thanks again London. Let us know when you are ready for your next dose of "Americana", JLO is expecting your call.
