Tweens worth their text messaging allowances have spotted (and stalked) teen heartthrobs Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart all over Vancouver during the recent shoot of the cult vampire movie Twilight sequel, New Moon. The cast was seen eating, partying and shopping all over town, and the Sutton Place Hotel was the reported abode of most of the cast, including Kristin Stewart (who stayed on the 12th floor) and Nikki Reed (who was on the 9th floor).

The actors spent their days filming at various locations around town including David Thompson Secondary School (which plays Forks High in the movie) and The Ridge Theatre (in the Kerrisdale neighborhood), while Edward and Bella crazy insiders report sightings of Pattinson sneaking out of the hotel in the wee hours of the morning. And yes, Rob and Kristen are probably dating in real life too.

Vancouver's Hollywood

Since Vancouver is cheaper than Hollywood to film an actual movie or TV Show, all the studios, stars, directors and etc. have set up shop on Canada's West Coast.

And the insider place to stay is Sutton Place in downtown.

Industry people often stay in the apartment rooms that are separated from the regular guest rooms. But one guest said that over the 4th of July weekend,
John Cusack, Joan Cusack, Amanda Bynes, JoJo, and Jessie Metcalf were all at the hotel.

Plus, "tons of other lesser known actors, directors, producers, can be found at the bar." Yah, sure. So the B-listers are the ones that indulge in the booze.

Aside from being frequented by VIPs and the lesser knowns, the hotel was awarded the North American "Best Boutique" hotel in the 2005 World Travel Awards. Not too shabby, eh?

So pack your camera phones and celeb rags and head for Van.
