The Cavendish Jumps on the Bandwagon with a Royal Wedding Tea

Just as we predicted, the Royal Packages are coming thick and fast. Last week we found a selection of Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea deals we'd happily get in on and now we've got to add one more; the latest hotel to offer tea and Kate cake is The Cavendish London.

The Cavendish’s Royal Afternoon Tea features Victoria sponge cake, fruit cake with royal icing, a selection of Katie's chocolate truffles, Williams pear and almond tart and the usual scones and sarnies. We’re a little disappointed with the lack of fresh ideas here, but we’re sure the food will good, even if it isn't truly Royal. On the plus side, at only £18 per person it’s the cheapest high tea we have come across.
