If you're planning on heading to the great outdoors in the direction of the North Pole, we've got the hotel for you.

Although we've never actually heard of anyone having travel plans to Saskatoon in Saskatchewan Canada, the Delta Bessborough despite its obscure location, is a place to check out.

Known as the "castle on the river" it has a top-notch spa and spacious rooms. Even better, its not in the middle of nowhere.

However, let us warn you of those disastrous floral patterns that seem to make their way in lower populated areas. Despite this the hotel gets fabulous reviews:

This hotel is absolutely outstanding. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, clean and comfortable. The look inside the rooms is kind of "antique" with cherry oak furniture in the room I was in.

Plus, if you like jazz, June is the time to head to Saskatoon. For $99 a night you can book a floral room and tickets to the Saskatoon Jazz Fest through the Jazz Promotion. After the jazz fest, the northern lights can bedazzle you into oblivion until that is, they remind of just how damn far you've traveled.
