Donatella Versace took her family fashion house to Australia's Gold Coast for her first foray in the hotel business back in 2000.

Unlike Ferragamo, which prefers to keep its hotels sparse with Ferragamo products, the Palazzo Versace displays a "Versace lifestyle" just about everywhere. As the website says about the hotel's accommodations, "Every piece of furniture is unmistakably Versace."

Naturally, this includes the linens, the rugs, the cutlery, and the toiletries found within the place. The hallways are also lined with artwork by the late Gianni Versace. And of course, this place would not be complete without a Versace boutique.

Aside from Versace amenities, the hotel also features a fresh water lagoon, a spa, and a marina but sadly no half-naked hunks to carry you around on a chaise lounge.

The reviews on this place are mixed, largely due to the hotel's location facing Sea World Drive and high prices (rooms start at about $520):

overall $3000 later, it was no big deal, could of bought a versace dress and bragged about that more.

So you have to decide would you rather wear Versace or live it?
