Chances are, if you're heading to Liverpool to take in the Beatles and pop music history of the city, the Hard Day's Night Hotel is on your list of must-sleeps or at least must-sees. You almost can't avoid it, since the hotel sits at the entrance to the famous "Cavern Quarter," down which alley-like street you'll find the various underground music clubs that nurtured the young Beatles, The Who, and basically name any famous British musician from the 1950s through 1970s.
We've already given you a full look around the hotel's Paul McCartney suite and a peek at room service, but downstairs there's so much more going on. The HDN isn't just a hotel with a slight glaze of Beatles theme; the fab four are baked into the place, with priceless artwork at every turn and design flair that keeps it far away from looking anything like a Hilton or Marriott.
The answer: not this! Despite the fact that both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are vegetarians, the Liverpool Beatles-themed Hard Day's Night Hotel proudly features the "Hard Day's Night Burger" on their room service menu, ringing up at a cool 13.75 GBP. That, with the current exchange rate, is a $22.18 burger, a cost made up for by the giant potato wedges qualifying as gourmet chips on the side.
If it weren't for Ringo's history of stomach issues, maybe he would have ordered it. But you know what? We're still sticking with not, since the hotel features a Lennon Suite and a McCartney Suite, but no Starr Suite...yet.

NOMG. Justin Bieber is currently trapped inside the Beatles-themed Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool, hometown of the Beatles, by screaming fans. Yes, the birthplace of Beatle mania is now under siege from Bieber Mania. TMZ reports:
Justin Bieber is currently holed up in his hotel in Liverpool, England -- with thousands of screaming girls outside ... and cops have warned Bieber that it could turn in to a "possible riot situation" and have even threatened to arrest him. Sources connected to Bieber tell us the pop star and his entourage have been warned that if Bieb or his team go anywhere near the balcony ... they will be arrested immediately for inciting a riot.
We hope the Hard Day's Night Hotel, The Beatles themed hotel in Liverpool, is keeping "warm below the storm" now that a flood has forced the hotel to close down for a few days. Er...maybe that should be "warm above the storm."
According to Click Liverpool, a leaking pipe burst in the basement yesterday, flooding the space where the hotel's power supply is located with hot water.
Guests had to be moved out of the luxury hotel but managements says they hope to reopen again on New Year's Eve. A message on their website apologized for the inconvenience and that guests with bookings for tonight and tomorrow should get in touch with the hotel, if they haven't been contacted already.
If you're looking to stay there on New Year's Eve however, you're out of luck as the hotel is sold-out.
You may be asking yourself: Hey, HotelChatter have you gone all sixes and sevens? Why should we care that the Hard Days Night Hotel has rooms open on 9-9-09? Wot's that got to do with anything, guv'ner?
Ok, lame attempts at cockney slang aside, you might really be confused about rooms being open on this date but 9-9-09 is the day that the Beatles Rockband comes out as well as when the Beatles remastered albums will be released.
If you haven't been watching VH1 during bouts of insomnia like we have, then we can't fault you for not knowing that 9-9-09 is like an Apple Scruff's judgment day. But if you're looking to celebrate the Beatles in Liverpool, you're in luck.

The Beatles-Themed Hard Days Night Hotel opened last week and thanks to Stefano at Epoque Hotels, we were able to get our hands on some great snapshots by of the hotel's rooms, suites and public areas.
Just check out this killer shot of the John Lennon Suite which comes complete with a white piano. While the Times UK reviewer had some issues with the public spaces, you can't say this hotel won't make a Beatles fan very happy.
