Spring Forward at the Overleaf Lodge
April 8, 2008 at 9:15 AM | 0 Comments

To celebrate the new season of flowers and warmer weather, Oregon's celebrated Overleaf Lodge is offering a sweet discount for returning customers. They're ready to knock 20% off your stay beginning now through May 1st (only valid Sunday through Thursdays, and excluding school or regular holidays).
Sure, the e-mail we got says it's "for loyal guests," but we're sharing the coupon with you here. Even if you've never been, you gotta go! We did and loved it.
Apart from all the wonderful massages, oceanfront pool dipping, luxurious in-room basking tubs, fireplaces, and unbelievably scenic beaches you get at The Overleaf, the little hamlet of Yachats is centrally located for all the excellent goings-on coming up shortly, like the 29th Annual Oregon Coast Home & Garden Show in Newport (April 11-13), Gerdemann Garden Tour & Celebration (April 12), The 3rd Annual Oregon Coast Instant Haiku Slam Classic (April 12), and the Earth Week Celebration at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, up the road in Florence (April 19-27).

The Oregon Hotel Trail: The Overleaf Lodge & Spa

HotelChatter Maven Annie0007 recently wrapped up a two-week jaunt through Oregon, taking her from the mountains and high desert to the lakes and coast. Along with the terrain variety, she stayed in a wide array of accommodations, from a 50s-style campground setting along a starlit lake, to a luxury cottage surrounded by deer and wildflowers, and a 1930s mountain lodge made famous in a classic horror movie. This week we'll be running her exclusive hotel reviews. If you have any questions, hit us on the tipline.

Making our way north up the Oregon Coast, past the sea lion caves in Florence (sorely lacking even a single creature -- they'd all swum off, we were told), and the vistas spanning in all directions from Cape Perpetua, through countless curving coastlines along US 101, we wound our way into the little town of Yachats. Ahead was our destination the much heralded resort spa, The Overleaf Lodge.
