In a way, it was over before it even began. Celebrity power couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were suddenly thrown into the center of a media whirlwind when it was discovered that Ashton had shacked up with a girl at the Hard Rock San Diego—and what's worse, her "friend" was actually wiling to corroborate the entire story. Ruh roh.
After the story was leaked by this gossip blog, all sorts of details were swirling around—the confiscated cellphones, the "gaggle" of girls, the pre-sex "waiting room" (we picture them all lined up like Gaga fans at a CD signing)—but this email set the record straight. 'Two Hours' Of Pleasure Lead To Divorce For Ashton And Demi
We kind of saw this coming. After six years of marriage, Demi Moore filed for divorce from her wayward husband yesterday—and we've even got the tweet to prove it. @aplusk, or Ashton Kutcher as he's known outside of the Twittersphere, made headlines all over the world last month with his extramarital late-night tryst at the Hard Rock San Diego.
During an interview with UK paper The Sun last month, Sara Leal revealed she and Kutcher spent two hours having sex in the room, before Ashton congratulated himself on his performance. Typical.

Ashton Kutcher Officially Put An End To His Marriage At The Hard Rock San Diego
The week wouldn't be complete without a little celebrity-fueled hotel scandal, and we feel like the crumbling empire of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore's marriage is as good a scandal as any.
College gossip blog The Dirty broke the news yesterday that Ashton cheated on Demi by getting jiggy on the twelfth floor of the Hard Rock San Diego. The mystery lady in question is a girl by the name of Sara Leal, whose "friend" emailed The Dirty to confirm that the event had taken place, and around what time the whole thing took place. Apparently, these types of affairs don't get rolling until near sunrise. Or maybe Ashton had just been too busy playing around in the hotel bathroom.

Hard Rock San Diego to Serve Free Pot Brownies
Oh, Hard Rock, ever the edgy brand. (Don’t let its glossy corporate shell fool you!) Underneath its aging-rocker exterior you’ll find an inner badass. Really! Er, that’s what we hear from Hard Rock Hotel San Diego’s carefully crafted marketing blitz to coincide with the upcoming 40th anniversary of Woodstock.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, Maryjane’s Coffee Shop, will be serving “free Pot Brownies” to all guests checking in Aug. 14-16 in “an irreverent nod to the infamous Woodstock counterculture” (read: drug orgy). Of course, this is 2009 (not 1969) and a luxury hotel (not a muddy field) we’re talking, so “pot brownie” is, alas, just a play on words.
In their words: “The truth is: The warm, baked-to-order brownies are aptly named for the charming ceramic pots in which they are baked and not for any secret ingredients.”
D’oh! Not that we’re complaining. Free gooey brownies are always welcome, munchies or not. Even better? The brownies will be served a la mode. Mmmm…brownies and ice cream — that's a "special" combo if we ever heard one.
