You Can Stay at the OJ Robbery Hotel for Under $50

OJ Simpson will be cooling his heels for the next 15 years (or 5, depending on good behavior) in a graybar hotel in Nevada but you can still hit up the scene of the crime (specifically armed robbery and kidnapping) at the Palace Station Casino Hotel for only $24 a night during the week and from $39-$49 on the weekends.

If you're looking for something a little more cushier, you can try the hotel's newly remodeled tower rooms which are about $59 a night on the weekends. Hey, this could be another great hotel for the recently laid-off. Or if you're a true crime junkie, book room 1203 where OJ attempted to steal the sports memorabilia with his autograph on it.

O.J. Simpson Questioned in Vegas Hotel Robbery

[UPDATE: It looks like OJ Simpson is saying "I did it" but only that he took back some of his sports memorabilia and that he did not break into a hotel room.]

What happens in Vegas apparently won't stay in Vegas for troubled O.J. Simpson.

According to Las Vegas police, the former football star is being investigated in a robbery case that took place late Thursday night at the Palace Station Casino.

Details on what happened are sparse but TMZ reports the Juice allegedly broke into a room. For now Simpson is not in police custody and is only being questioned along with several others.

We're not so sure what kind of loot the robbers were looking for since the last time we wrote about the Palace rooms were going for $19 a night.

Room with an Anti-View: The Artisan Hotel

You know the scene. You open the door to your brand new hotel room, run over to the window, open the blinds and bam, you are hit with the anti-view. Maybe you are looking down a dirty alley, witnessing a drug deal, staring at an air shaft in the face, or seeing a brick wall. Whatever you are viewing it is not extremely pleasurable. Help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading your anti-views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number with the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes view.

Yesterday, we ran some photos that a kind FOHC took for us of the Artisan Hotel and it wasn't much to get excited about. Now with this anti-view we can safely say the only things that Artisan has going for itself is a cheap room rate and free porn, which you can find on Channel 69.

Artisan Hotel Does it Vegas Style With Free Porn

While we were checking out the Bon Appetit events on the Strip and the Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, an FOHC (friend of HotelChatter) was staying at the Artisan Hotel just off the Strip.

The FOHC kindly sent us multiple room photos of the dimly lit, ugly, non-gaming hotel which you can check out after the jump. But most interesting to note is that the hotel porn here is free and you can find it on Channel 69. Classy.

$19 Weekday Deals at the Palace Station

Once again, I am writing about one of the Station group of casinos (STN on the NYSE), run by brothers Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta.  The Palace Station used to be the Bingo Palace, and is off the Strip but only minutes away.

Weekday rates in August at the Palace Station are $19 and between $59 to $69 on weekends.  In September, the weekend rates are between $79 and $109. But don't expect glitz or luxury at this locals favorite.

The Palace Station features the Laugh Trax Comedy Club and the Palace Station Oyster Bar.
