If you're bopping your head in anticipation of seeing Muhal Richard Abram at the Chicago Jazz Fest, you can riff on the experience with special packages at Hotel Allegro and the Hilton Chicago from Sept. 4 to 6. Both "Chicago Jazz Festival" packages offer the same perks: two VIP seating passes (the fest is free, but it's usually bring-your-own-blanket) for all three days of the event, two commemorative T-shirts and three nights at the respective hotel.
