We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

When a place is named the Royal Victoria Hotel you wouldn't immediately place it in Pisa, Italy, but that's exactly where you'll find the hotel that produced this killer view from its balcony.

Not only is the view great but the hotel is quite special--parts of the building date back to the tenth century and over the years it's entertained all kinds of aristocrats, scientists and other historical figures.

These days the Royal Victoria Hotel in Pisa is a simple three-star place with reasonable rates: €100 (US$140) for a standard room with private bathroom (there are cheaper ones if you'll share your bathroom) or double that for a family room. And it's only a 15-minute walk to that famous leaning tower.
