Fontainebleau Miami Update :: Everything Will Be Ready On Time Except the Chinese Food

A couple of weeks ago, we checked in with Fontainebleau Miami and advised you to steer clear (for now).

The resort is currently semi-closed as it undergoes the final stages of a $1 billion renovation, and last time we checked, things weren't really going to be up and running until the scheduled November 14th grand re-opening (currently operating: two towers, no restaurants, no spa, and no main pool -- so, no thank you).

As we have grown rather pessimistic when it comes to hotel openings and have fairly low expectations for hotels sticking with their word on opening (in this case, re-opening) dates, we made a quickie phone call to the Fontainebleau today to make sure things were still all ready to roll for the Grand Opening on November 14th, which coincides with the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
