Boquitas Pintadas is for adventurous travelers.   It is a five room guest house in a noticeably seedy section of BA and the amenities list is short. However, if you are looking for the southern hemispheres version of the Chelsea Hotel, you should be right at home.

This hotel attracts a eccentric group of international artists who leave their mark on the rooms, and on the property itself.

Punk-inspired fashion designer Stephen Sprouse spent his final days at Boquitas Pintadas, no doubt enhancing the hotels reputation for years to come.

So if you are a follower of the haute couture on a gambit in BA this may be the place for you.
