Flickr Hotel Review: Squinting at Mount Fuji

Look kids, Mt. Fuji. Sure you have to kind of strain your eyes to see it, and it is the only time the hotel maven behind this photo saw the mountain during a seven day stay at Shinagawa Prince Hotel, but still, it is Mount-Freakin'-Fuji.

The photographer's hotel room was 31 stories up, and while reports on the Shinagawa Prince hotel rooms vary, what can't be argued is the property is a five minute walk from Shinagawa Train Station.

Plenty more great hotel room photos over at the Flickr group "sitting in my Hotel Room". Oh, and naturally remember to help out your fellow hotel mavens by uploading hotel photos to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool.  Alternatively, you can just tag your Flickr photos "HotelChatter", or send them along to us.

Mind The Burn In Tokyo Business Hotel

Blogger John spotted the sign pictured to the right on the bedside lamp in his Shinagawa Prince hotel room in Tokyo.  Not sure what it means.

The Shinagawa Prince Hotel has a couple of different partitions.  The first, in the main tower, is full of tiny rooms with tiny windows and a tiny bathroom.  The executive tower will get you a new bright room with sweeping views, but the room is more expensive.

It is a typical Japanese business hotel--no frills in a good location.

We still don't know what the sign means.
