The lobby was sophisticated and glossy. Forgive the obvious mothership reference, but the lobby looked like it stepped straight out of a Conde Nast magazine. As we arrived we were immediately offered coffee, juice, or water and told that all three beverages were free throughout our stay -- nice touch. The front desk folks were extremely friendly and helpful, asking us if there was anything special we needed during our stay.

We mentioned we had a conference call in 10 minutes and needed an early check in. Not only did the staff comply, but they also switched our room to a "quieter room with a desk." By the time we got in the elevator and headed to our room we *really* wanted to love this hotel.

However, the awesome staff and gorgeous lobby ended up being the highlight of our stay.
