Whitney Houston Thanatourists Not Welcome at the Beverly Hilton

The Beverly Hilton has been under siege, for various reasons, since the February 11th death of pop legend, Whitney Houston but their latest move might end all the postmortem chaos once and for all.
TMZ (of course, who else?) is reporting that the hotel has removed the room numbers from the door to the suite 434 where Houston drowned in a bathtub. Apparently, the hotel has taken the room out of circulation and it will no longer be available to hotel guests and more importantly, thanatourists who simply just want to be in the room where Houston died. This is something the hotel should have done immediately after it happened but we guess better late than never.
Anyways, let's hope this is the last of the Whitney Houston-Beverly Hilton hotel news for a while, or ever.

Beverly Hilton Still Feeling the Fallout From Whitney Houston's Death

It's only been two weeks, but Whitney Houston's tragic death at the Beverly Hilton has split off into a dozen different tales of woe by everyone from Whitney's family to the guests at the hotel to the hotel itself. And no one is satisfied quite yet.
First, and perhaps most relevant after the contentious thread we posted last week: it was announced that the hotel has fired several employees who went against company policy by speaking to the press about the incident. Not because they had anything malicious to say, but the Bev Hilton generally didn't want its staffers spilling the beans on whatever was going on behind closed doors.
Because that's what Twitter is for.

When A Pop Star Dies At Your Hotel, You Can Count On Things Getting Out of Hand

Like we said last Monday, so much about what went down last weekend at the Beverly Hilton was whack, but most of all, we're disappointed in the behavior of certain guests, who are now seeking refunds from the hotel for their "unbearable" stays. Well, gee. When there's something visibly wrong with the service, or when poop explodes out of your sink—that's all grounds for a refund.
But the death of a famous pop star? Not exactly something the hotel has any control over. So guests needed to vent their anger, they were over-stimulated, and possibly underslept, and had to pass along the buck to someone. But is it the hotel's responsibility to recompense guests when the thing becomes a police matter?
Yeah, we're asking you.

Whitney Houston's Death at The Beverly Hilton Was Not Right, Nor Was It Ok

By now everyone knows that our childhood idol one of the greatest voices ever heard, Whitney Houston, who lived a life full of superstar highs and drug addiction lows, tragically passed away on Saturday afternoon at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. And like so many celebrity deaths in this 24-hour news cycle and info-ravenous age, the details surrounding her death keep on coming.
Houston died in a fourth floor suite at the hotel just hours before she was set to attend Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party at the hotel. TMZ also reports that she was found underwater in the bathtub, possible from a Xanax overdose and that her last night on earth was spent getting rowdy in the hotel bar.
As if that weren't sufficiently tragic, TMZ also reports that Whitney's daugher, Bobbi Kristina, showed up at the hotel hours after her mother was found dead and demanded access to the room to see her mother one last time. She was later taken away from the hotel in a stretcher and sent onto Cedars-Sinai to be treated for shock, exhaustion and dehydration.
While all this terrible sadness and drama unfolded on the fourth floor, there was a party going on downstairs.
