The Jersey Shore gang may be distracted with its various spin-offs, including what sounds to be a Laverne & Shirley wanna-be show with JWow and Snooki, another one that follows Pauly D's DJ career and now a show focusing on the Situation. But you can still get your fill of Seaside Heights hijinks with CheapOAir's Memorial Day hotel packages.

You can GTL in Seaside with a vacation deal at the Grenville Hotel starting at $111 a night. Or you can head to Asbury Park, New Jersey, to party at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel starting at $136.

Alexa Ray Joel Kicks off The Plaza's New Concert Series Tonight

Where: 5th Ave at 59th Street [map], New York, NY, United States, 10019

Now that the Rose Bar at Gramercy Park has shuttered their secret, invite-only music sessions, The Plaza is at the ready to fill in the gap on the elite NYC music scene with their new Artist in Residence series in the hotel's famed Oak Room. (Perhaps they were inspired by Lady Gaga's impromptu performance?)

The first artist on the schedule is Alexa Ray Joel, daughter of Billy and Christie Brinkley. The NY Post reports that her debut tonight is completely sold-out and that a "very special guest" is set to attend (we're gonna go with Billy.)

Alexa will also be performing on December 27, January 3 and January 10. The shows start at 9:30pm with dinner available at 8pm. Tickets cost $100 a piece and can be purchased by calling 212-758-7777.

Well, That's a Nice Hotel Situation for The Situation

We're not going to lie, we're getting kind of jealous of the Jersey Shore crew. That's because they've gone from bunk beds and tanning salons in Sleazeside Heights, New Jersey to the finest hotels in the country.

While the Jersey Shore chicks attempted a ladylike lifestyle at The Surrey, The Situation was seen flashing his iPad, not his abs, at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills yesterday.

Rooms at the "Pretty Woman" hotel start at $445 a night. That's like 8 Ed Hardy t-shirts! But while the hotel's Lea Journo hair salon has plenty of services for men, including a pedicure and deep conditioning treatments, tanning is sadly not an option for the Sitch here.

Lock Up Eloise! The Situation Wants to Teach Abs Classes at The Plaza

After watching Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino completely break down these past two weeks on "Jersey Shore" (fighting Angelina, trying to pull a robbery on Vinny's cougar girl, smacking Snooki in the mouth) as well as on "Dancing with the Stars" (his wooden dancing skills were voted off this week), this latest news about The Plaza's own situation with The Situation has us very concerned.

According to the NY Post, The Situation and The Plaza are in talks to make him the face and partner of a new luxury gym that would open in The Plaza's retail spaces where the old Radu gym used to be. NOMG!

"There will be a very select clientele. Members would need letters of reference, and there will be a high initiation fee. The Situation will be originating a workout program, and he'll occasionally teach abs class himself."

WAIT, IT GETS WORSE:

Our source said, "The deal could also be rolled out to other Fairmont hotels."

'Jersey Shore' Causes a Ruckus at The Tropicana in Atlantic City

Last night was a magical evening. Wanna know why? Because there was two full hours of the trashtastic "Jersey Shore" on MTV. And in the first hour, the kids headed out to AC--Atlantic City Baby.

They shacked up in a suite at The Tropicana which despite its Las Vegas counterpart, looked to be in decent condition. We even saw a flat-screen TV in there.

Snooki finally found love at the Jersey Shore in the suite's bathtub with Mr. Bubbles, The Situation had plenty of space to change his clothes three times before going to dinner, Sammi and Ronnie finally got to share a decent-sized bed, Pauly D had more mirrors to study his blow out, JWoww could smoke in the bathroom and Vinny could wander around in his wife beater, free from any milk and cheese smells.

The gang later hit up dinner at the hotel's Il Verdi restaurant where The Situation and Snicks had a showdown. Things didn't get much better at the nightclub, Providence, when The Situation committed "robbery" on Vinny's skanky club chick and JWoww puked in the bathroom.
