Man, are we going to miss Summer Fridays. It's our favorite part of the week, not only because, well duh, it's Friday, and duh, it's time for a cocktail or ten—no, we're also going to miss them because oh, we do love making all these bad puns that seem to come free of charge with our Summer Cocktails.

And here's one just brimming with 'em (har har)! We'll skip the opposite jokes, but head straight for the name of this signature cocktail from the Opposite House in Beijing. It's simply called the Kiwi & Thyme, which is actually pretty funny, because we immediately thought of The Flight of the Conchords and... whaddyaknow? They're Kiwis! (If you don't get the thyme part of the joke, go here. Immediately.)

There are quite a few dining options at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, but for its selection of all things sushi, sashimi and Sake, we'd be hitting up Morimoto before any of the other restaurants if we were livin' la vida Boca this summer.

The Savannah

Sure, summer is almost over, but we can still pretend that it's not going anywhere. One way to do that is by indulging in alcohol-infused Sno-Cone cocktails at the Liaison Capitol Hill's Art and Soul restaurant, which has a whole menu dedicated to the delicious icy treats.

But you won't just get boring old cherry here. Instead, these more adult versions of crushed ice are drenched in alcohol like St.-Germain and cachaça and are served in a cone-shaped martini glass.

We don't know about you, but we find it hard to get sick of all these silly cocktail puns. Maybe because it's summer and we've had a few by now? At any rate, the cocktails and the puns don't stop, and today's installment comes all the way from Hawaii, where it's Augustini Month at the Kahala Hotel & Resort.

Ah, summer drinking. The only time it isn't totally awesome is in when you can't decide if you want a beer or a cocktail. You could throw back both in quick succession—or you could maximize both time and booze and order a Beergarita at the Horseshoe Bay Resort in Texas.

We're pretty sure there's some rule about not mixing beer and liquor but to hell with it! It's hot! We want a cool refreshing Miller Light but we need that shot of tequila to remind us it's Friday. Let's do this.

Do you like flowers? We think they're pretty and all, but they're not at the top of our list of things to notice. We're not even sure that we need flowers in our cocktails, as is the current mixology trend. But the Colorado Wildflower Cocktail, served at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek looks just lovely so we put our petal bias aside for a moment to find out what's in it.

One of our favorite things about reading cocktail lists and descriptions is when the bar or hotel in question tries to sell us on a booze-laden concoction by telling us it’s good for us. And so it is with today’s Summer Cocktail, a “delicious tropical cocktail chock full of Vitamin C served at Cotton Tree in the Cayman Islands. Here’s how to make the feel-good beverage.

We already know that overpriced drinks are a lot easier to swallow when perched on a hotel rooftop bar high above the city. But you know what's also pretty delish from upon high? Tacos. So we're totally into the new Tacos & Tequila night at 60 Thompson's A60. Especially since it's on a Monday.

Also? You don't have to be a hotel guest or A60 member to get your Rooftop Mex on—you just have to rock up early. Non-members are welcome 'when space permits', so we recommend hitting up the bar as soon as the taco stand opens at 5 p.m.

Often the Summer Cocktails we share with you at Drink O'Clock on a Friday are from boutique hotels but we're happy to say that today's starring beverage is available at Westin Hotels across North America.

Each of the 70+ participating hotels will offer a classic Cuban Mojito along with variations on the theme but all inspired by the chain's SuperFoods menu. And you know that means? The cocktails are good for us. Hells, yeah!

It’s summer. It’s Milwaukee. It’s motorcycle-riding weather. Which means it’s time for cocktails at The Yard, the outdoor bar at everyone’s favorite Harley hotel, The Iron Horse.

The Yard mixologists have made it easy being green. Perhaps too easy. This season’s “Green Goddess” is a scrumptious cocktail, made with organic vodka, lime, chives, basil, cucumber, green tea, and peppers. It’s garnished with a lime wheel and a twirl of rhubarb, and served up with Midwestern charm – and prices. The Green Goddess is just $12.

Have enough of them, and you may find yourself on a joy ride on the back of someone’s Harley. Wheeee!
