Kim K Is All Over Kanye...and London Hotels

May 23, 2012 at 9:37 AM | by | Comment (1)

So Kim Kardashian is, for reals, dating Kanye West. (Congrats, Kimmie! You found an even richer, more famouser boyfriend than last time. We're so happy for you. Really. From the bottom of our hearts.)

Last week we surmised that Kim would be shacking up at the Lanesborough where Kanye booked an entire floor. But as it turns out, Kim K is getting around.

We've spotted loads of paparazzi snaps of her and Kanye leaving The Athenaeum (and then loads more of snaps showing just Kim leaving the hotel.) We can't blame her for staying here as the place features residential-like guestrooms and free WiFi (great for all those Twitpics of her half-naked self that she keeps uploading.

We Hope The Lanesborough Knows What They're Getting Themselves Into...

The other month we reported that Kanye West and a few other rappers were living it up at The Lanesborough. Little did we know that West's new main squeeze, Kim Kardashian—as well as the entire Keeping Up With The Kardashians film crew—would be following him there. And so quickly!

The Mirror reports that Kim has officially landed in London, and though Kim's hotel hasn't been confirmed, it is likely that the pair will be spending a significant amount of time at The Lanesborough, where West has booked an entire floor.

Knowing how much both Kim and Kanye love holing up for weeks at a time in the world's trendiest hotels, we shudder to think what their hotel-hopping powers combined might accomplish. A flour-bombed, hot-boxed, multifunctional naked yoga and recording studio? With any luck, yes.

Guess The Hotel Where Kim Kardashian Was Flour-Bombed in West Hollywood

We may not be the biggest fans of Kim Kardashian these days but we can't believe she actually got flour-bombed at a hotel in West Hollywood last night!

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called to the unidentified hotel on North San Vicente Boulevard shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday.

Deputy Peter Gomez says the woman who allegedly threw the powder was detained by hotel security and later released at the scene. And in true Kardashian work ethic, Kim went upstairs to a hotel room, removed the powder from her and clothing and returned to the event.

You can see a pic of the flour destruction here. Fortunately for the crazy woman, Kim is not pressing charges. But now, we've got to guess the hotel this happened at!

The Gansevoort Park was so Kim's last failed marriage ago! The new place to find your fave Kardashians is now the W Dallas Hotel & Residences where Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are renting a two-bedroom penthouse condo.

Naturally, where there's one Kardashian, there's always at least a couple of more visiting. That's what happened last week when Khloe was visited by Kim, Kourtney and mom Kris. Later on, brother, Krobert, er, we mean, Robert arrived and the fam headed to watch Lamar play for his new team, the Dallas Mavericks.

Since there probably wasn't enough room for the rest of the Kardashians in Khloe and Lamar's apartment, we're gonna go ahead and presume they grifted booked the best suite in the hotel which is the E-WOW Suite which includes 1,323 square feet of space on the 15th floor, a master bedroom and bath, a dining table for six, a wet bar, kitchen, living room and a 60" plasma screen TV, good for watching the Kourtney and Kim Take New York marathons on E!

3 Reasons To Snag A Room For Hotel Week

January 6, 2012 at 9:51 AM | by | Comment (1)

We don't know about you, but the post-holiday void has left us in need of a little diversion, so we're just going to play along with all this Hotel Week business—however much it feels like a bootleg version of New York's more established Restaurant Week. Here to bolster a select batch of NYC hotels through the dreaded January slow season, the nine-day promotion starts today.

And to help you get excited, here are a few tips on ways to get the best bang for your buck.

#1. By saving money on the room, you can relax (read: spend) a little more at the hotel restaurant. For example, Lexington Brass, the glazed brick-lined brasserie on the ground floor of Hyatt 48Lex, has made a point of luring guests with delicious comfort food items like buttermilk fried chicken, deviled eggs with caviar, and, of course, our favorite, the jelly-filled doughnut pancakes.

Just Call Her Kim 'Key Kard'-ashian

No surprise here: professional egomaniac Kim Kardashian, who recently expressed a desire to open her own hotel in Dubai (and was swiftly shot down by the WSJ), is absolutely smitten with a particular keycard in Vegas. Why? Because it has her face on it.

Back in August, when The Mirage announced the opening of Kardashian Khaos, some gave it the thumbs up, and just as many outright disowned the hotel. Kinda like when that petition was circulated to cancel all Kardashian programming on the E! network. But unlike TV, which can always be shut off, a hotel takeover is slightly more cataclysmic. And when it gets to the point that you can't even enter your room without seeing their faces, that's surely grounds for hotel boycotting.

For a twitpic of the key card, see below!

Kim Kardashian Wants to Open a Hotel for Gorgeous People

October 14, 2011 at 12:05 PM | by | Comments (0)

Brace yourselves, the day's hotel news just got a lot more depressing. WSJ is reporting on a statement made by Kim Kardashian about opening her own branded hotel in the United Arab Emirates. In her words: "everything I think will be successful here."

Hmm, a self-obsessed reality TV star with delusions of starting her own hotel? Haven't we heard this one before? Also, Kim you might want to stop copying the Hilton sisters at some point.

Kim is currently touring the country solo, and was apparently so swept away by all the beautiful women there that she took to Twitter to make her feelings known. So, she's got millions of dollars, has already visited a few of the world's glitziest hotels, and has a thing for beautiful women? Judging from what we know of other well-known lady-loving hoteliers, Kim certainly seems to fit all the criteria. All we ask is that she lays off the houndstooth. That's not so much to ask, is it?

In the ever-expanding universe of Twitter, there is one particular trend @HotelChatter happens to quite enjoy: candid hotel room photos. These Twitpics range from stunning views to anti-views to celebrity tomfoolery and everything in between. And we can't get enough of 'em! Starting this week, we will begin featuring one "Twitpic of the Week" to commemorate our favorite hotel-themed snapshot. Got a favorite of your own? Want to show off your sweet suite? Send it in!

Life can be tough when you're the world's most famous reality TV star. So when @KimKardashian just needed a nice, prolonged armchair lounging sesh, who was gonna stop her? And if her handsome houndstooth dress happened to perfectly match the fabric on the chair, who was gonna complain about that either?

Kim and Kris Move On Up into the Gansevoort Park Ave's Penthouse Suite

It seems like just last year Kim Kardashian and her sister Kourtney were moving into the penthouse suite at the Smyth Tribeca for their new reality show, "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." Wait, it was just last year that they were doing that. Now, they are back in the Big Apple again but the hotel rooms have changed (not to mention Kim's marital status.)

Instead of staying at Smyth, the girls have moved onto the Gansevoort Park and the party spot hotel on Park Avenue is only too happy to welcome Kim and her new husband to their penthouse suite. Page Six reports:

Kim Kardashian will be in monogrammed marriage heaven once she and new hubby Kris Humphries settle into their home at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue South. Sources tell us the pair, soon moving into a $7,000-a-night penthouse, will be reminded of their lavish nuptials--and their matching initials-- with K&K monogrammed towels, sheets, pillow cases and even Champagne bottles.

Is This Where Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Spent Their Wedding Night?

When we told you last week that Kim Kardashian's big-ass wedding had the Four Seasons Biltmore all booked up, we had no idea that the newly married couple would be spending their first night as husband and wife there as well. Yet E! Online released photos sly photographers caught the couple exiting the hotel on Sunday morning.

Now in looking at the guest rooms and suites available at the hotel, we can safely assume that the couple, who now wear million dollar wedding bands, was not shacked up in a regular old guest room. But with eight one-bedroom suites and one Ty Warner cottage (also a one-bedroom) to choose from, we wonder which one was good enough for Kim and Kris. Um ok, that's an easy one.

Kim Kardashian's Big Ass Wedding Has The Four Seasons Biltmore All Booked Up

August 16, 2011 at 10:27 AM | by | Comments (0)

Kim Kardashian is all set to marry NBA star Kris Humphries in a super spectacular wedding in Montecito, Calif. (just outside of Santa Barbara) that will probably put all celeb weddings to shame (to the tune of $20 million!)

And but of course, no celeb wedding is complete without a hotel stay. As it turns out, The Kardashians will be keeping up with all their guests by putting them up at the Four Seasons Biltmore while the family itself is spending the weekend at the nearby San Ysidro Ranch where private cottages go for $5,500 a night, according to Star Magazine.

While it's not quite clear where exactly the nuptials are happening--it's looking like San Ysidro Ranch might be the place--both hotels are completely booked up for the weekend.

Hmmm. Looks like Santa Barbara may have gone all out for the wrong royal couple this summer. Still, if you're interested in staying at the hotel favored by other reality stars, The Four Seasons has rooms next week starting at $595 a night.

Kourtney and Kim Take New York...and The Penthouse at Smyth Tribeca

As we all learned last fall, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian took over the Smyth Tribeca while filming their new E! show "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and last night the very first episode of the show premiered. Naturally, we were stoked to see the inside of the hotel suite, notsomuch Kim and Kourt.

The girls "checked in" to the hotel and were sent up to the 8th floor penthouse suite where a pretty awesome two bedroom suite with a living room, dining area, full kitchen and an 800-sq.ft. outdoor terrace awaited them. The girls promptly ran outside on the terrace where Kourtney shouted, "The Kardashians are here!" Then Kim giggled and said, "We should throw something." Oh boy.
