Kathy Griffin, What Are You Doing?

So, it was Friday afternoon. Another week of hotel news was over. We'd seen Facebook hotel rivalries, nationwide Hyatt strikes, and killer views in Vegas. But as we sat browsing our Twitter feed, what we weren't prepared for was this killer view, taken in a New York hotel room, of Kathy Griffin showing off her bangin' bod to a window washer.

Tweeted by @kathygriffin at around 6pm EST, the photo quickly went viral on the internet, even prompting a story by NY Daily News (headline: Kathy Griffin Parades Around In Sexy Bra And Underwear For Window). Guess Fashion Week doesn't have the same effect on everyone.

Kathy Griffin Goes Ahead With Poolside Stunt at Hotel Palomar

We have to hand it to Kathy Griffin. She announced she would be getting a pap smear poolside at the Hotel Palomar Westwood on Friday and she actually went through with it, wearing a bikini and heels no less!

Kathy's public pap smear was conducted by a legit medical physician and beneath the chair was a giant sign that said, "Tell Cancer to Suck It." Griffin went public with a private check-up to educate women around the world about health and cancer awareness.

"I started talking to girlfriends of mine, my age and younger, and I just can't believe how many women are afraid to get a Pap smear or they forget or they've gone 10 years without doing one," she said. "The message is, if you see me doing something so outrageous-some may say repulsive-that should make it easier for you to pick up the phone and call your doctor and go get one in the privacy of your own doctor's office."

We Have No Words for Kathy Griffin's Latest Hotel Stunt

The pool at the Hotel Palomar will never be the same.

We have to remind ourselves that she's doing this for a good cause but Kathy Griffin's latest hotel stunt has us cringing...a lot.

The comedian and red carpet pundit is going to get a pap smear for an episode of her reality show, "My Life on the D-List." That's not so bad. After all, it's for women's health awareness. But what is bad is that Kathy is planning to do it poolside at the Hotel Palomar in Los Angeles. Poolside! She's also planning on bedazzling her lady friend a la Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Now, we seriously hope that she closes down the pool area so that guests don't have to see this stunt. No one should be subjected to that. We just don't understand why she couldn't do it up in one of the hotel suites. Or why the hotel is allowing this to even go on? Why are you allowing it to go on, Hotel Palomar?

'D-List BFFs' Paris Hilton and Kathy Griffin Spotted Poolside at Avalon Hotel

A hotel guest snapped this photo of Paris Hilton and "My Life on the D-List's" Kathy Griffin sauntering around the pool at the Avalon Hotel. Paris, fresh off the her Hawaii trip, was helping Kathy out by filming an appearance on her show at the hotel's pool area, Blue on Blue. Here is the scoop from the guest:

Paris and Kathy interacted well - talked for a good 30-40 min in a nice poolside cabana at blue on blue. Funny that Kathy G was waiting in lobby for Paris to join her to walk out around the pool to the cabana - and Paris finally came out in her bikini - spent a minute or so checking herself out in the mirror screen by the front door - finally was ready - a bunch of people were telling her she looked fab - and Kathy G immediately yelled "thank you" and "I know"!!! It got a lot of laughs. Kathy was really nice to everyone - talking and interacting. Paris - kept to herself and on-task.

Apparently, Hustle n' Flow's Terrance Howard was also at the hotel and popped in on the shoot to say hello to Paris and Kathy. Just another day in Beverly Hills folks!
