Here's the latest happening in the luxury hotel world as told by JustLuxe.com. Got a question about luxury hotels, the travel biz, and where to stay? Send it in and we'll have JustLuxe answer it.

Just waiting for the financing to come through on your new Bentley? Aren’t we all. Well in the meantime, allow this Fantasy Friday post to guide you one step closer to being behind the wheel of this ultimate luxury car, and out on the open road. But where to take this baller-status vehicle? Well, since it belongs to St. Regis as part of their “Grand Tour Aficionado Package," we’d say wherever they allow. Lucky for you, it’s on a road trip along the gorgeous California coast!

During the next couple months, St. Regis Monarch Beach and St. Regis San Francisco are pairing up to offer a roadie adventure featuring a two-night stay at each end of the drive (in a 900+ square foot suite), a Grand Tourista Bag created by fashion designer Jason Wu, a Bentley key chain (to flash around after and convince people of your potential ownership) and of course, access to your very own 2013 Bentley GT, Bentley GTC, or Bentley Mulsanne for the 10-hour drive between destinations.

You can start your road trip at either of the two properties, with the drive winding up or down the Pacific Coast Highway through Big Sur, Surf City USA, Santa Monica, Malibu and Santa Barbara. We suggest letting Magellan ride shotgun if you’re directionally challenged.

Whoever came up with that little motto “It’s the thought that counts” for special-occasion gifting is a more spiritually evolved creature than we (or Kristen Stewart …or Johnny Depp’s new piece) will ever be. Loving thoughts are appreciated, but if you really want to make our next birthday memorable, please book us the VIP birthday package at the Flatiron Hotel.

Specifically, the one that comes with a private sushi chef, a classic Cadillac Deville ’65 with chauffeur, four tickets to the New York Giants, and all-day spa treatments for all the friends who are staying with us in the 4000-square-foot Toshi’s Penthouse. Plus a few more little things we haven’t detailed (full package details after the jump). It’s $8000 per person, plus tax and tip, but if you love someone, money’s a small price to pay, right?

Fantasy Friday: The $175K Golf Special and Other Bachelor Party Options

April 26, 2013 at 2:20 PM | by | Comments (0)

We recently listed 5 Elopement Packages for those wanting a low-fuss wedding, but that doesn't mean one has to skip out on the time-honored tradition of The Bachelor Party. Of course, today is Fantasy Friday, so we've got to go a little over-the-top with the options, and boy have we found some. But don't worry, we've got some sensible back-up plans as well.

For Golf Lovers
Rosewood Mayakoba's $175,000 Ultimate Golf Experience is completely insane!During the week of November 11-17, 2013, the resort's El Camaleón Golf Club will host the OHL Classic, when the world’s top PGA Tour players will compete on the Greg Norman designed, 7,000-yard, 18-hole championship course. To celebrate this high profile tournament (and golf-nuts everywhere) the resort created an extravagant package that's a bachelor's ultimate last-hurrah.The groom and two of his besties will get a private lesson with world famous golf instructor Jim McLean, a round of golf with legend Greg Norman at Playa Mujeres (you'll take a private helicopter to and fro) as well as receive three positions in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba Pro-Am. Oh, and though this is already an all-suite resort, you'll stay in the 6,272 square-foot Presidential Lagoon Suite. Evenings mean sipping cocktails with the PGA Tour players (!), an invite to a private BBQ on the beach, and a tequila tasting of some of the country's best labels. This package is only available for November 12-19, 2013. Book via Rosewood.com

Not In Your Price Range?
Alternative: Head to Ponte Vedra and The Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa where from May 6 to 12, they'll be the host hotel for annual THE PLAYERS Championship at the world-famous TPC Sawgrass. Your group of guys can bask in the Florida sun in the place where some of PGA's greats like Vijay Singh, Fred Couples, and Matt Kuchar have played. This spring you'll see who'll be battling it out for a beaucoup cash purse ($9 million!) on the 18-hole, Pete Dye-designed course. Tickets start at just $15! When you're not playing yourself, feel free to spend time in the ornate Club House (we recommend indulging in the ridiculous brunch spread) where you can see Tiger Woods' 2001 tournament locker, have a few post-play cocktails, and generally feel like royalty before settling into the domestic life. Packages start at $349 per night, which includes daily breakfast, a round on THE PLAYERS Course, and other perks. In this special season and you'll generally feel like royalty before settling into the domestic life. Book through Sawgrass Marriott's special page.

Fantasy Friday: Four Seasons Adds Americas To 2014 Private-Jet Trips

April 5, 2013 at 3:26 PM | by | Comments (0)

Yep, it's Friday and time for a little fantasy travel...this one's so very, very exceptional...

Remember when we dreamt about that little Four Seasons private jet trip last year? The September 2013 journey might already be sold out, but two new itineraries have just been announced for next year. In addition to a slightly different selection of destinations for the round-the-world version, Four Seasons is adding a “Rediscover the Americas” option for spring.

The basics remain the same: private jet travel, dedicated staff along the way, and of course Four Seasons hotels in every location. The size of the group has decreased to 56 passengers however, and while inflight you’ll be able to Instagram and Vine away, courtesy of on-board internet.

Fantasy Friday: Le Meridien Serves World's Most Expensive Omelette

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: 118 W 57th St [map], New York, NY, United States, 10019
March 15, 2013 at 2:22 PM | by | Comments (0)

We've said it many a time, we're a dreamy lot here at HotelChatter, and part of our job is to help you escape daily life with a bit of travel fantasy. Today's enticing entry might be a bit do-able, though, something you could re-create at home! Ok, that's a stretch, but read on anyway!

Perfect for this weekend's breakfast and brunch plans, we've got The Most Expensive Omelette in the World, courtesy of Norma's restaurant at Le Parker Meridien Hotel. It's called the "Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata" and it costs a cool $1,000. The restaurant's tag line for this eggy-goodness is, "Norma dares you to expense this." Yep, for real. Now why does it cost so much? Simple, it's filled to the brim with a whole lobster and topped with 10 ounces of caviar. That's over $500 worth of fish eggs right there. The rest of the cost is for the lobster, eggs, cream, and herbs.

Obviously this omelette is mostly for show as the restaurant only sells about a dozen of them a year.

Fantasy Friday: Trump NYC's Over-The-Top Babymoon

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: One Central Park West [map], New York , NY, United States, 10023
February 22, 2013 at 6:08 PM | by | Comments (0)

We knew it would happen. The “Babymoons” of yesteryear would return as a trend. And you know who’s to blame? We’ve got two culprits. Kate Middleton and Kim Kardashian. Since both women announced their pregnancies, we can’t count the amount of baby-centric packages appearing in our inbox. Fine. Expected.

But this is Fantasy Friday, so you know we’re going for the most OTT package we’ve seen, because it’s crazy fun to peep what’s out there for mamas-to-be (oh, and their partners too!).

Today we’re looking at theTrump Royal Heir Package from the Central Park stationed Trump International hotel. The property’s Britain-born GM, Suzie Mills developed the special to ladies in their second trimester want to savor the last few weeks of carefree couple time and prenatal pampering.

Look what you'll get for $6,000 (or $6,500 depending on suite choice) after the jump!

Fantasy Friday: Puttin’ On The Ritz With $400 Vintage Cocktails

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: 150 Piccadilly, London, United Kingdom, W1J 9BR
February 15, 2013 at 3:02 PM | by | Comments (0)

"If you're blue and you don't know – where to go to, why don't you go – where fashion sits – Puttin' on the Ritz……"

London’s The Ritz certainly had some apropos music when we attended an event here last week, with Ella Fitzgerald’s version of the classic song livening up one of the decked out function spaces in William Kent House that we toured.

There was a lot to see, from the hotel’s top-end Prince of Wales suite, to a private peek inside the Ritz Club’s high-roller Salle Privée we managed to wrangle, but that’s all for another day. First, we need to talk booze vintage cocktail collection at the Rivoli Bar, which given the price range (£90 - £250, or $130 - $400 USD) falls squarely in the Fantasy Friday bracket.

Fantasy Friday: The $750 Cupcake at The Palazzo Las Vegas

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: 3325 Las Vegas Blvd. South [map], Las Vegas, NV, United States, 89109
February 1, 2013 at 2:06 PM | by | Comments (0)

The cupcake craze, we are convinced, will never end. And nor should it! It's the perfect bit of dessert in easy-to-eat packaging. But this one we've heard about? Goes in the Fantasy Friday file, for sure. This one costs $750 and no matter our lust, we'd be afraid to touch it. Called Decadence D’Or, it's served at Sweet Surrender at the Palazzo Hotel and Casino Las Vegas and everything about it screams excess. Especially the ingredients, which cost more than some people pay in rent and car payments in a month.

It’s made with a chocolate cake laced with ganache filling created from a special Valhrona chocolate called Porcelana, rich French A.O.C butter, and Tahitian Gold Vanilla Caviar (which apparently is a big deal that takes over a year to harvest). Then edible gold flakes are hand-applied to the frosting and topped with a hand-blown sugar fleur-de-lis filled with Louis XIII Cognac (which costs $2K a bottle!). How is it served? No paper cup here, pshaw. You'll receive it on curved cracked-gold plate and bowl. Mercy!

Fantasy Friday: $14,000 Valentine’s Day Package At Capella Singapore

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: 1 The Knolls, Sentosa, Singapore, Singapore
January 25, 2013 at 12:44 PM | by | Comments (0)

It’s nearly that time of the year again: cards, flowers, candle-lit dinners, moon-lit walks in the park, and more-or-less crazy Valentine’s day hotel packages. We’ll give you a round-up of options to spoil your special someone with on February 14 soon, but before we get to those we’re throwing one suggestion in the mix that will require a little bit more planning (and perhaps slightly deeper pockets).

First of all, you’ll have to make your way to Singapore, more specifically Sentosa Island, and the luxurious Capella Resort. Once you get there, you’ll need $14,000 (S$17,999) for the “Eternally Yours” package, which you’ll burn through in one short, but hopefully memorable, night.

Fantasy Friday: Polo and All Things Posh at the Four Seasons Palm Beach

Go To The Hotel's Web
Site Where: 2800 South Ocean Boulevard [map], Palm Beach, Florida, United States, 33480
January 11, 2013 at 7:04 PM | by | Comments (0)

This Fantasy Friday offers is one you might be able to pull off! Imagine, no need to cry in your coffee that you haven't a spare 5-figures (or more!) to drop on a flash hotel experience. Well, today we're going to actually take it down a notch because the amenities on this one are so swank, we couldn't pass up spreading the news.

This time we head to Florida's Four Seasons Hotel Palm Beach, which apparently has a big polo scene with its access to the International Polo Club. Well, alright. We're down with trying the "Sport of Kings (or at least future ones--how ya doin' Wills?).

The Four Seasons Hotel Palm Beach has built up three bonus offers to go along with their rate--and you get to choose which one that appeals most to you. Which would you rather have: an hour-and-a-half personal lesson with the sport’s top talent team, a private gourmet picnic at the Club where you’ll watch a match, or VIP brunch at the Club with preferred veranda seating during the match. Oh, and the kicker for all this? Whichever you pick, you'll be transported to The Club in a sleek Maserati and given copious amounts of Veuve Cliquot champagne during your adventure. Yeah, that's the business, baby!
