'Entourage' is Back and So Are The Hotel Packages

May 28, 2015 at 6:21 PM | by | ()

No, you are not imagining things. Nearly four years after the HBO bro-show, Entourage, went off the air, it has returned with a bro-movie of the same name.

Entourage, The Movie premieres on June 3 and for old-times' sake, hotels are getting the gang back together again with Entourage-themed packages.

Here a few party-animal packages that have come across our inbox. And since hotels made numerous cameos in "Entourage" episodes over the years, we'll be sure to report on the movie cameos as well. But remember, as the wise Titus Andromedon discovered, "There is no Entourage 2!" For now.

'Entourage' Continues to Make Love to LA Hotels

August 24, 2011 at 12:34 PM | by | ()

The final season of Entourage is turning out to be one long-lasting makeout session with Los Angeles hotels.

In the season's second episode, the boys found themselves unexpectedly shacked up in a "penthouse" suite at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We're using quotation marks because we're pretty sure that's a fake hotel suite set up for filming purposes somewhere not inside the hotel.

The W Hollywood also made an appearance, although slightly veiled as their Delphine restaurant was given a Hollywood makeover as celeb chef Bobby Flay's restaurant. (Currently, Flay does not have an LA shop.)

And in this week's episode, nearly every important scene took place at a hotel.

For 'Entourage's' Final Season, The Boys are Living Large at the Hollywood Roosevelt

Nary an episode of Entourage airs without at least one scene taking place in a hot Hollywood hotel so it's no surprise that the final season of the bro show is starting off with Vince, Turtle, E and Johnny Drama living it up at the Hollywood Roosevelt in a penthouse suite.

Granted, they are only there because Turtle accidentally burned down their house but still, the guys have had a long love affair with the Roosevelt. (See here and here.) This time around they are presumably shacked up in the Gable Lombard Penthouse Suite at the hotel which has three full-size bedrooms (we're guessing Turtle and Johnny Drama are sharing) as well as a full-sized kitchen, vaulted ceilings, 1,500sq.ft. of roof deck space underneath the Hollywood Roosevelt sign, and a built-in surround system, among many other amenities.

Vince and The Boys Get Some Pool Time at W Hollywood

Another episode of Entourage, another guest spot from a Los Angeles-area hotel. Last night, the new W Hollywood and its popular Drai's Nightclub served as the backdrop for Vince's TV interview with Maria Menounos about his new movie--which he said "will probably end up sucking."

Vince also chose to unveil his "shocking" new short hair cut at the hotel. But nevermind about Vince's hair styles or his jump into the adrenaline junkie deep end. Let's talk about the hotel. The W Hollywood got some serious screen time here as it showed the boys and Vince's publicist Shauna Roberts (the always awesome Debi Mazar) walking along the hotel's catwalk, through the lobby, inside Drai's nightclub and around the pool.

'Entourage' is Back and Hitting Up Old Hotel Haunts

UPDATE: We hear that The W Hollywood will be featured on next week's episode! We'll have the recap right here for you.

Yes folks, Entourage is back on HBO for another season of things going swimmingly in Hollywood for Vince, E, Drama and Turtle. Sure, the boys might have some obstacles to overcome--Is Vince getting the movie? Will E ever manage another client? Will Drama get a real acting job? Will Turtle get laid?--but life always work out just fine, usually by the end of the episode too. (C'mon, that "stunt" that Vince was forced to do on his own last night? Hardly seemed dangerous.)

But we're loving "Entourage" these days for all the guest appearances that pop-up. Did you guys catch "Top Chef's" Stefan drop by E and Sloane's table last night? Yet while no hotels appeared in this season's first episode, you can expect a guest spot from the Hollywood Roosevelt soon.

All's Well That Ends Well Again For 'Entourage' Boys at The Sofitel LA

The Sofitel LA has been a very busy hotel these days. Recently, the hotel was used as the setting for vampire hotel, Hotel Carmilla, in True Blood. Then last night, the boys of Entourage ended the episode in a typical Entourage fashion--toasting their success over dinner--at Simon inside the hotel.

So it might be hard not to hit up Simon (helmed by Chef Kerry Simon) for its legendary giant cotton candy and junk food platter, or the ever present eye candy that is almost consistently wearing tight Bebe dresses and hair extensions but the restaurant does have a pretty extensive menu ranging from wood-oven pizzas to sushi and steak. Plus Simon uses organic ingredients and most of the meat is is "farmed and harvested in a sustainable manner", as per the restaurant's website..

And let's not forget about the wine. Go ahead and order two bottles. Remember, E's paying.

Room rates start at around $335 a night on the hotel's website.

W SoBe Introduces 'Entourage' Bungalow

We probably all know by now that the type of dude who struts around as though he believes his life is an episode of HBO's "Entourage" is to be avoided as deliberately and as unmistakably as the type of girl who believes her life is an episode of Sex and the City, so perhaps the W South Beach is doing you a favor by restricting access to its grounds: it's going to be full of Vinny/Eric/Drama/Turtle wannabes.

And how do we know this, exactly? Not because the place is scene-y and Miami trendy, but because word on the street is that the hotel is joining forces with HBO to create an "Entourage"-themed bungalow, a three-story, "extra-ritzy" space that comes with a personal driver, an afternoon yacht excursion, a poolside cabana and jet skis, and dinner for four at Solea. Though the place appears to be BYO-Weed (tell your Turtle-esque friend — and also, we're totes just kidding, don't do drugs), it does come with free alcohol from Grey Goose and Heineken, as well as Sony Playstation3 consoles.

We're not just telling you about this because it's cool to know where celebs are hanging out, but because you can actually still score tickets to this event on Ticketmaster.com for the not-so-low price of $125.00 (we just tried and we were able to get all the way to checkout): Kevin Dillon, a.k.a. Johnny Drama from Entourage, is hosting the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel's Super Bowl bash down in Tampa tomorrow night.

The Revolution party is being held inside of Floyd's Nightclub in The Seminole Hard Rock, and celeb (we use that term loosely) appearances include model/actor Boris Kodjoe, Khloe Kardashian, model Claudia Jordan and Playboy girl Vida Guerra. The DJ — seriously — will apparently be Playboy's 50th Anniversary Playmate Colleen Shannon (plus South Beach's DJ Selfborn).

Doors open up at 10:00 pm and the party goes til 6 in the morning on Saturday, which should give you adequate time to recover all day to gear up for Sunday's game. Also, dudes: no jerseys in the club — which should be a general rule always and forever, but the party invites actually specify that you leave 'em at home tomorrow night. More info on the soiree here.

And, uh, tell Johnny to tell Eric we said "what's up."

Get Your Entourage On at The Muse New York

While some of us maybe would like to "get it on" with the stars of HBO's Entourage (ahem), we suppose we might be able to settle for the "Get Your Entourage On" package at the Muse New York, just in time for the season premiere of the series (hooray!) on September 7th. Or at least we'd send our boyfriends to get their Entourage on while we did other stuff...

We've been jealous of our brothers at Jaunted, who got to fly aboard the very first Virgin America Entourage Air flight yesterday -- so maybe we can one-up them by booking this hotel package and flying to NYC via Entourage Air. Or something.

Package details after the jump.

Johnny Drama Finds Love, Loses Hotel Room in Cannes

In Sunday night's Entourage season finale the boys head to Cannes (courtesy of Kanye West's private jet) and promptly shack up at the Intercontinental Carlton Cannes Hotel---well, all of them except Johnny Drama. Apparently, the room he reserved months ago and confirmed "at least a dozen times" is nowhere to be found.

Considering that his old show "Viking Quest" was a huge hit in France, Drama expects the hotel to rectify the situation immediately and put him in an ocean-facing suite like his brother Vince. Unfortunately, the hotel takes quite a few hours only to show Drama a closet-sized room with a twin bed not facing the ocean.

Making matters worse, Drama has met a girl, Jacqueline, and thinks he's in love. So he asks her to wait in the room while he goes downstairs and demands a suite. But he gets angry, calls the manager a "French f--k" and is carried out of the hotel by security. When he tips a bellman to look for the girl, the bellman says she's missing. Also, Drama only tips him a lone American dollar.

But don't worry this is Entourage. All ends well all the time. At least for Drama in this episode and not so much for the boys behind "Medellin." Drama ends up finding Jacqueline and having sex with her for three hours on the beach. Guess he didn't need that twin bed after all.

E Finds Unemotional Sex at the W Westwood Hotel

The love affair with Los Angeles hotels is still going strong on Entourage.

In last night's episode, E and Vince hit up the pool at the W Westwood Hotel searching for some girls that E could have unemotional day sex with. As the bros settled into their lounge chairs, immediately two Brit chicks offered to buy them drinks. Of course, because bad stuff never happens to Eric or Vince.

Anyways, since we live in Los Angeles and since the four dudes were strolling down Beverly Drive in our old neighborhood at the start of the episode, we feel qualified to say that there are not that many hot-looking girls just walking up and down the streets of L.A.

Most likely, hanging outside the Urth cafe on Beverly Drive is a group of obnoxious agents comparing suits or the kids from Beverly Hills High being loud and annoying.

We can't vouch for the W but we're pretty sure there is no hotel pool here just full of models getting a tan. Unless of course, Entourage is filming. That and if Mystic Tan is closed.

'Entourage' Continues Love Affair with L.A. Hotels

July 16, 2007 at 9:05 AM | by | ()

This has been a stellar season of Entourage for hotels, particularly for the Four Seasons Beverly Hills.

E and Vinnie hit up the hotel's BLVD restaurant with crazy director of "Medellin" Billy Walsh and famed movie critic Elvis Mitchell. Earlier in the season, the crew trooped into the hotel's Cut restaurant in hopes of securing a movie financier.

Also getting big love this season is the Mondrian Hotel where Vinnie and the crew holed up after they sold their house. That is, until Anthony Michael Hall peed off the balcony and the hotel promptly kicked them out. As you know, the Mondrian doesn't stand for such shitty celeb behavior.
