Hilton peeps say that the 25,000-sq.ft. eforea spa at the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa (formerly known as The Spa at Hilton Sedona) will open on October 5 for relaxation, including their solarium and a 25-meter pool overlooking Sedona's Red Rocks mountain range.
And much like the first eforea spa in New Jersey, Hilton Sedona's eforea spa offers guests the choice of three different types of "journeys" to embark on during their visit, such as the Essentials journey anchored by an advanced, non-invasive Signature Correcting Facial; the Escape with organic products, holistic experiences and traditional healing practices such as the Hilton Head-to-Toe revitalization treatment and lastly, a Men's Journey, made for men and featuring a variety of treatments form facials to massages.
Back in May, we peeped the new Peter Thomas Roth toiletries that are now found in Hilton Hotels. And it looks like in just a few short months, the feedback for these toiletries have been good enough to send PTR into the hotel's new spa concept eforea which was launched late last year.
The skin care expert will now be offering his treatments and products in the spas starting in September. And these are some serious skin treatments such as the Clinical Peel & Reveal Dermal Resurfacer Peel and the Advanced AHA Anti-Aging Body Treatment.
The spa will also sell both full-size and travel-size bottles of PTR products from his Mega-Rich collection as well as a few new ones like the Aloe Tonic, a Clinical Peel & Reveal Dermal Resurfacer, an Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel and a Anti-Aging Buffing scrub. Hilton's own shopping site, www.hiltontohome.com, will also offer the products starting this fall.
Did we really stump you on Friday with our Guess the Hotel: Spa Edition? Or was it just so easy you guys didn't even need to guess at it? Either way, we're here to show you inside Hilton Hotels brand new, worldwide spa concept eforea.
The first eforea spa has opened at the Hilton Short Hills in New Jersey, about 45 minutes west of Manhattan. We actually toured this spa back in 2007 and it looks loads better than it used to. In fact, the modern, bright and uplifting Eforea spa looks loads better than the rest of the hotel which is very traditional in decor with dark woods and elaborate furnishings.
We tried to snap as many photos as we could so you would have a better inside look at the eforea concept but it was hard to do thanks to the actual spa guests roaming about in robes seeking relaxation. And while we doubt every forthcoming eforea spa after this one will look exactly alike (the next one will open in Thailand), there will be many similarities in design, layout, feel and of course, treatments.
More changes are underway at Hilton Hotels! The hotel collection has just announced a global spa concept called eforea: spa at Hilton. Eforea, huh? That sure does sound different. Here's what it's all about:
In an increasingly fast-paced and sometimes stressful world, today’s business and leisure travelers are looking for ways to attain a calmer, more spiritual place; the word eforea was created to describe that place. The eforea brand promise is to bring balance and wellness to the body and take guests on a transformative journey of the senses, helping them to emerge brighter, hence the brand’s signature icon -- a butterfly freed from its cocoon.
Efore you start booking, you should know the spa concept will not be rolled out
