There's still another 8 days and 14 hours until this "once in a lifetime opportunity" comes to an end.

If hotels were people, The Curtis Hotel in Denver would most definitely not be a wallflower. A slightly kooky, always-energetic boss, or your life-of-the-party friend, perhaps. This is, after all, the hotel that has already caught our attention with a humungous doggie door, themed floors, and a ‘Stay Happy’ Contest.
Its relentlessly upbeat nature reminds us of the corporate culture of Zappos, or the new-fangled “positive psychology” craze. Often, this can get, well, a little much. But the latest promotion out of Planet Happy Curtis is so much a little much that it’s mega: the hotel is putting itself up for auction on eBay for New Year’s Eve.
