The Celebrity Holiday Hotel Hopping Continues
We're not haters or anything, but we've had to endure reruns and all types of holiday delays. And then we had to get back to work on the 2nd. Hell, some of us working stiffs didn't get much vaca at all. So, we're just wondering why these celebs still seem to be taking a break. Do they not have movies to shoot? Tracks to record?
OK!We admit it--from the pics we're seeing we're just jelly we're not in their spots. So we'll once again just live through them. And seethe from afar.
Madonna and her brood (including her 25-year-old boyfriend Brahim Zaibat) headed to the resort town of Gstaad, Switzerland, for New Year’s. It seems Anne Hathaway and new hubby Adam Shulman were around for the holidays, too. While the Material Mama spent time attempting to ski and bit the dust a few times, it seems 16-year Lourdes was smoother on the snowboard.

Brangelina Shuts Down £10 at Montage Beverly Hills
There might be little argument that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie make for the most interesting celebrity couple on this planet. After announcing their pending nuptials, the hearts of world-wide paparazzo may have skipped a beat, but the couple may have scored a point against the camera lens after organizing a private dinner at one of the restaurants in the Montage Beverly Hills.
Perhaps they were picking the flowers or even color schemes for their big day, either way Brangelina wanted a little privacy while dining in the hotel's £10 restaurant. Allegedly, after a little coaxing, they shut their doors to the public and other hotel guests, and no doubt waited on the power couple hand and foot. No word on what they dined on (does Angie eat?), but with a menu like aged bison tartare and mini lobster rolls, no doubt the bill was more than £10 ($16).

Brangelina and Family Check Into the Royal Palm Hotel in the Galapagos Islands
Ahh, to have the hotel habits of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. One minute they're stopping into a popular Hollywood haunt, the next they are off to the Galapagos Islands with their six kids (and presumably a few nannies and bodyguards) in tow.
People Mag reports the newly engaged couple and their kids have set up shop at the Royal Palm Hotel on the island of Santa Cruz. The hotel, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, is the only luxury hotel that's actually located inside the Galapagos National Park. Reportedly, Brangelina and co. are staying in one of the hotel's 10 villas which are equipped with living rooms, dining areas with fireplaces, jacuzzis and covered outdoor decks off the bedrooms and living spaces.

Brangelina Shacks Up at Utah's Amangiri Resort
When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt need a romantic getaway, they head to Utah. Yes, Utah. Hey, sometimes you have to go to someplace remote for peace and quiet when you live with six kids. The couple cleared their schedules and left the kids with a sitter for some nookie at the Amangiri resort.
There, the two embarked on a 27-hour romantic rendezvous in the desert. After checking into the hotel, the lovebirds had a late dinner and jetted off on their private plane over Lake Powell the next morning. Maybe Angelina has found her latest kinky sex hotel?

What Brad Pitt Orders Up to His Hotel Room
Okay, Brad Pitt. At first, when we read the item in Us Weekly that accuses you of ordering up three Nintendo Wii's to your room at the Hard Rock Las Vegas this weekend (where you were staying with your two boys), we were kinda like, "well, whatever. Lots of hotels offer Nintendo Wii's as amenities upon request — but apparently the Pitt boys needed one Wii for each individual. Whatever. Next!"
But then we realized that the Hard Rock Las Vegas doesn't offer Nintendo Wii's to its guests. Oh, no no. In fact, when we called the hotel, they told us they offered "nothing like that." But the concierge would be happy to rent or buy one for us if we wanted one during our stay.
Well, perhaps we'd want one. We don't need more than one. Who needs more than one Wii? And don't your kids have Wii's at home? Couldn't the nanny throw one in the suitcase before the trip? We're not hating, we're just saying.
Sigh. Celebs. They are not at all just like us.

WTF Hotel News :: Brad Pitt to Help Design Dubai Hotel
Earlier today, VacantReady's Chris tipped us off to a breaking news story that does not appear to be a joke: Brad Pitt is going to be designing a hotel.
The actor announced today that he is set to work with Zabeel properties to help design an America-themed (seriously) hotel and resort in Dubai.
The project, which aims to be an "environmentally sustainable" 800-room luxury property, will include Pitt as a designer working with GRAFT, the LA-based architecture firm behind Hotel Q and Lohan hotspot Marquee.

The Super World Travelers aka the Pitt-Jolie Gang are in our nation's capital today (at least Mom and her sons are) and if they aren't shacking up with some government official or embassy contact, then they gotta be staying at a hotel. Here are some suggestions:

Brangelina Having a Different Waldorf-Astoria Experience Than We Had
TMZ reports that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ditched the premiere for his film The Assassination of Jesse James in New York a little early to retreat to their suite at the Waldorf-Astoria.
However, we are guessing this duo is booked up in the fancier Waldorf Towers where regular rooms start at $700 a night and are a gazillion times fancier than the rest of the place.
All guest accommodations at The Waldorf Towers are individually decorated with exquisite antiques and period reproductions, with themes ranging from French Provincial to Old English. Many suites feature pieces transported from the original Waldorf=Astoria, which was razed in 1929 to make way for the Empire State building.
But if Brangelina don't have anywhere to be around 4:20 today, then they should hit up the 16th floor of the main building.

Brad Pitt is practically BFF with Frank Gehry so it's no surprise to us that Pitt and his lady, Angelina Jolie shacked up at the Gehry-designed Marques de Riscal while visiting Spain. We even bet that Brangelina got comped for their stay. And some good news for the hotel babysitters---Brad and Angie left the kids behind in Prague.

Sorry Madonna: Brad and Angelina Make India Hotter than Africa
Maybe Africa is over. Maybe the new hot place is India. Maybe Madonna is completely out of touch and in several months, will be wishing she'd adopted an Indian baby. Why? Because Brad and Angelina are in India, that's why.
Camping out "unofficially" at Le Meridien in Pune, where the duo are filming/producing the Marianne Pearl movie, the India trip is all about family right now. That is, until the paparazzi start to mob them during a rickshaw ride (above) and a bodyguard starts to strangle a photograhper.
Nevertheless, Angie has been using the gym daily to keep her post-preggers body in shape, after the gym closes to the public of course. The couple has also had plenty of clothes purchased for them from the hotel clothing store. This one seems odd as hotel shops usually carry Jimmy Buffet-style clothing and in India, maybe some generic saris. But apparently here, it's the best place to buy haute couture in town and Brangelina has been loading up on "party clothes" by Wendell Rodricks for evenings out which includes dining at the rooftop restaurant.
Not all this pertinent info has just been leaked from hotel staff. One guest actually caught glimpse of the super-star duo:
On Saturday, a guest caught a glimpse of the couple and their eldest son on the fifth floor. "Angelina seems to be friendly. She was dressed in jeans and a casual top and looked my way and acknowledged me when they passed by. Brad, however, looked straight through me," he said.
"Their security guards reached the floor before them. They even asked me to leave the floor using the stairs since Angelina and Brad would be taking the elevator up. I refused and just sat on the sofa in front of the elevator."
Wow, we always pegged Angelina as the scary, look-straight-through-your-soul half of Brangelina but we learn instead that it's Brad's Blue Steel that will make you cry.
