The Best Weekend Brunches Out There

November 16, 2012 at 5:19 PM | by | ()

There's just something about this time of year when we are HUNGRY, like, always. But the only time it seems socially acceptable to get seriously gluttonous is at a buffet of some sort or, during a weekend brunch. And quite frankly, with the weather changing so fast in so many parts of the country, we're in the mood for a good plate of sumthin' sumthin'.

So, we dug into the HC brunch archives and pulled out some of our favorite places to chow down over the weekend. We tried to keep it to places where we didn't have to dress up (we're in a grungy sweatpants sorta mood), but some places can get fancy, and for a good meal, we will make the effort.

The best way to show you where to go is to point the way in pictures.

So, leave your worries behind, have an extra mimosa or not-your-usual Bloody Mary, and feed with fury. We are right there with you!

The Yobot at Yotel Will Cost $2 But No Tipping Necessary

Where: 570 10th Ave [map], New York, NY, United States, 10036

The other day we geeked out over the Yobot coming to the Yotel Times Square when it opens on June 1.

Using a mechanical arm, the Yobot will pick up your bags and place them into storage lockers before, after or even during your stay. While this service makes Yotel stand out from any other hotel in NYC (quite a feat), it's not free. But it's not expensive either at $2 a bag. (although this could change.)

That's probably what you'd tip a bellman to store your luggage anyways. But with the Yobot, there is no awkward passing of crumpled up dollar bills involved. Ahh, we heart robots.
