When it comes to Scotland, Edinburgh usually tops the go-see list. Still, we’re partial to Glasgow, and its louche, devil-may-care atmosphere. A row of Victorian townhouses were connected to make the place—which has an air of an old gentleman’s club what with the welcome whisky, oak wood panels and a bistro that Gordon Ramsay once owned. In other words, testosterone's in the air.

The Gansevoort Park Avenue's sex appeal seems as effortless as New York City’s general swagger. The vibe permeates the place—from the pin-up hottie mosaic at the bottom of the chill Plunge rooftop pool (which is thankfully heated in February) to the rich Italian food at the newly opened Asellina restaurant.
BTW, the word isn’t “ass-uh-lena”, meaning “little ass” as we thought. But the name is said to be named after a female Pompeiian brothel owner, which is more intriguing anyway.

With the prevalence of peekaboo bathrooms these days, you'd think that hotels are all a bit sex-crazed. But as always, there's a difference between looking sexy and being sexy.
We at HotelChatter have sussed out the 10 Sexiest Hotel Rooms Alive! These rooms go beyond voyeuristic showers and sex kits in the mini-bars. These are the types of rooms that, in the words of John Mayer, are like "sexual napalm" for hotel guests.
So we're turning down the lights, pouring the finest glass of Merlot (that doesn't come from a box) and slipping into something comfortable while Boyz II Men plays in the background. Just sit back, relax, let your mind go and HotelChatter will do all the work.

Greek Danai Hotel Doesn't Play Fair With Gorgeous Pools
You can sway our hotel booking decision with a sexy pool any day. Put the pool on a sunny Greek peninsula and you won't have much trouble convincing us to come stay. So the Danai Beach Resort and Villas at Chalkidiki has just scored itself a pretty big thumbs up from us.
We admit this admiration is purely superficial and based only on a fantastic-looking pool, but the rooms sound okay too--air-conditioned, internet access, and a marble bathroom and marble floors. Most of the pools attached to suites are heated, so even if our Greek holiday isn't at the height of summer, we'll be able to go swimming. That's important.
Unfortunately, poolside luxury doesn't come that cheap. For the smallest pool-inclusive suite we're looking at €1,100 ($1,430) a night in high season (basically that’s June and October), rising to many thousands of euros for the larger villas. But oh … the pool …

The Iron Horse Hotel Launches Website
The Iron Horse Hotel, the new boutique hotel opening in Milwaukee that is set to please hog enthusiasts and business travelers alike, has now got its tricked-out hotel website up and running.
You can't make reservations just yet but you can peruse some of the guestroom photos and check-out the motorcycle amenities for the riders and their bikes.
The Iron Horse will also have a restaurant onsite called Smythe serving "something for everyone from farm-fresh lighter fare to hearty Regional American cuisine."
But what really has caught our eye is the Boiler Room which is set to open in the hotel in 2009.
The lower level of The Iron Horse Hotel that once housed the building's ancient boiler has been dramatically transformed into an unforgettable adults-only hot tub experience. Called The Boiler Room, this seductive lounge features an enormous hot tub that becomes a chilling pool in the summer. A tiled indoor deck with inviting lounge furniture offers the perfect gathering place to relax, unwind or spark up a conversation over cocktails.

The hotel is still set for a July opening and even though we are deathly afraid of motorcycles, we're actually very curious to see what this place is about. Especially that boiler room, heh heh.
