Paris-Area Hiltons Get Ready for 2007 Rugby World Cup

This is quite refreshing. Instead of hotels raising rack rates unnecessarily anytime an event comes into town, Hilton Hotels in the Paris area are offering a package deal that starts at $280 to celebrate the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Ok, well maybe that makes sense as only the U.K. and Ivy League students are rugby fans.

Nevertheless, the word is that from September 7 to October 20:

Rates start at 205 Euros (approximately $280 U.S.) and include: accommodation at your chosen Hilton hotel, `Rugby Man's' Hilton Breakfast , transportation to the game, and an official Rugby World Cup t-shirt.

We would insert another joke about rugby but we really don't understand the game. However, we did wear blue and green striped rugby shirts with Adidas Sambas sneakers in 7th grade, does that count? (And yes, we dressed like a boy. In 1991, that was cool. We swear.)
