We’re in the middle of Pride season right now, and while you may have missed out on the big one in NYC, you’ve still got some opportunities left. This weekend is the turn of San Diego, and to celebrate, Andaz SD is hanging its rainbow flag by launching a Pride Welcome Package.

It’s a pretty simple but solid package. Starting at $209, it gets you bed and breakfast, a 4pm late check out in case you had ‘fun’ the night beforehand, and “local LGBT relevant information from an Andaz host”.

The only problem is, there’s no availability left with the package tonight, and it costs $449 tomorrow night. Gay fail! You can, though, still get a room for Pride (and, presumably, the LGBT-slanted advice) this weekend – prices start at $279 a night for both today and tomorrow. Also, the good thing is that the package is valid until December 30 (there may be fewer hookup opportunities down the line, though).

Opus Vancouver Celebrates Pride and Wants You To Propose, Too

The Vancouver Pride Parade might only happen on August 2, but the Opus Hotel in Vancouver has Pride-related deals happening for much longer — how festive!

The Pride 2009 Package runs from July 18 through to August 10 and includes a Superior Queen room (yes, they made it a queen room intentionally) and a "special welcome indulgence", plus a $50 credit to use in the Opus Bar or, if you need a bit more privacy, on your room's minibar.

And the final bonus: while you're out enjoying some Pride festivities, room service will be visiting you to add an "extra special pride downturn" to be there waiting for you. We don't know what these special additions are but if you stay there, please let us know, because we sure are curious.

You can take the romance of Pride a bit further if you like, because the Opus also has a Propose on Pride package as well. This one includes a bottle of champagne to toast your proposal (assuming it works out well), and breakfast for two in bed the next morning, finishing off with a late checkout of 2pm. Package costs vary according to the date so check directly with the hotel, but you're looking at upwards of C$320 a night.

Kimpton Hotels Planning a Gay Summer

We'd never suggest anyone actually take a pedicab in Manhattan: there just seems to be too much wrong with the idea. But if you're staying at the 70 Park Avenue Hotel on June 24, it might be nice to take a load off and ride with Manhattan Rickshaw to points along the route of the 38th Annual Pride Parade.

Kimpton is offering the free rides as part of its Summer of Pride, the main part of which involves a 15 percent discount for guests of any orientation at 10 properties nationwide.

In New York, the 70 Park's sister property, The Muse Hotel won't have rickshaws, but you can still pre-party with Rainbow Martinis and the always-happening wine hour in the lobby. More info is available at Kimpton's LGBT-specific website.
