Victoria Beckham in 'Love and Light' at The Carlyle

Victoria Beckham's ridiculous airport fashions and singing career may come and go but one thing remains a constant for her in New York--The Carlyle Hotel (Perhaps she's picking up some hotel design hints here?)

Posh was spotted leaving the hotel yesterday, after having made a rather good showing at New York Fashion Week with her namesake fashion line this year. Could the Carlyle be providing her with all those "in love and light" vibes she keeps tweeting about? (Also, who stole this light from who--Posh or Danielle Staub from RHONJ?)

Aside from twittering up a storm during Fashion Week, Posh recently tweeted a picture of her bulldog, Coco, with painted nails. We tried to suss out if this was taken at the Carlyle but alas it looks like it was done at her home.

Yet if you need to bring your own Coco along with you for fashion week, you're in luck as the hotel is pet-friendly.

Would You Stay in The Posh Spice Hotel?

Well, move over Marc Jacobs. It looks like dubious fashion designer, former Spice girl and ultimate WAG priestess Victoria Beckham might beat you in designing a fashion hotel first.

According to reports swirling about today, Posh Spice has been offered $40 million to design a fashion-themed hotel in Dubai on Isla Moda. Yes, $40 mill for Posh Spice-influenced design. Guess there's still money to be had in Dubai afterall.

However, Posh can't be trusted to design a hotel by herself otherwise we'd probably just end up with rooms inspired by platform Louboutins and Hermes bags. No, no, no. The word is that iconic Chanel designer, Karl Lagerfeld, will be brought on to help her out.

Despite how silly this idea is, we sorta hope this hotel happens but with more Uncle Karl involved than VB. The word is Victoria is still mulling the offer. She better act quick. Someone may offer Lindsay Lohan money to create a fashion-leggings hotel in Dubai instead.

Posh Spice's Diva Behavior at Bacara Resort

Last weekend, Posh Spice continued to explore Southern California by heading up to the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara.

IDLYITW has got some pics of Becks' wifey hanging by the pool but we have actually heard a first-hand account of her diva-behavior there.

According to our sources, Posh had bodyguards standing in front of her lounge chair, thus thwarting any potential "fans" from going up to her. When our source tried to walk by Posh's chair, a bodyguard demanded to know what she was trying to do before telling her to to leave.

Obviously Posh was all testy about female fans trying to accost her husband at his hotels when he's on the road. But c'mon shouldn't she be used to this by now? And what does she expect when he's posing half-naked all the time?

We are pretty sure that the amount of time we have spent glancing at pics of Becks without his shirt on is definitely longer than the amount of time we've ever seen him play soccer.

David Beckham Does D.C. in DoubleTree Style

David Beckham landed stateside last month to a lot of fan fare and we're not just talking about his wife Posh's reality show.

Nope, in Los Angeles, his new team the Galaxy threw a huge welcoming event, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes threw a 600-person party full of A-list celebs, and paparazzi has been stalking Becks on his every move. We now have learned the man prefers Coffee Bean to Starbucks.

And all this, without Becks even playing a full game. The soccer star has been sidelined with an ankle injury. Nevertheless, he's been traveling with the team and today, they are in Washington, D.C. where Becks hopes to play in tonight's gams.

Oh but if only Tom and Katie could see him now. Word has it that since he is traveling with the team and since the MLS players don't really stay in fancy hotels, Becks is staying in the DoubleTree Crystal City. A tipster from D.C. writes:

This morning on the radio someone said they met David Beckham as he came out of the Double Tree hotel in Crystal City.

Reliable Source in the Washington Post and all the other news sources are keeping tabs on him - Mortons for dinner 2 nights ago, Crystal City coffee shops, stores and cafes in Georgetown - all over the place.

Crystal City is actually not in D.C. proper but in Virginia just south of downtown D.C. Yet this DoubleTree property can't be all that bad if it has a revolving SkyDome Lounge, no?

Chateau Marmont Likes Becks, Just Not Posh

NY Daily News is reporting that the Chateau Marmont has some serious dislike for Posh Spice because she always tips off the paparazzi as to when she will be arriving at the hotel. Maybe the CM has had too much of this drama thanks to Lindsay Lohan who was living there for over a year.

However, the hotel likes Posh's (hot) husband David Beckham, and let's be honest, who doesn't like David?

Also not a big fan of Posh? Britney Spears, who reportedly wouldn't sit at a table next to Posh and left for restaurant Il Sole instead.

But we expect these two to cross paths again in the future as they both share some love for the Four Seasons on Doheny. Posh spent some time blogging there and Britney's been hiding out there from the child welfare agency and K-Fed.

Posh Spice Was Blogging From Her Four Seasons Hotel Room

We had no idea Posh Spice even knew how to use a computer but she has just launched a blog section to her personal web site. And her first blog posts were about her recent trip to Los Angeles--scoping out homes, checking out schools, spending a hundred grand shopping and hanging out with fellow aliens...er... Scientologists.

Of course, Posh Spice would need to include photos of her pouting, wearing big sun glasses and a large black trench on her blog for the full effect.

Here's a shot of her at her hotel room. Although she doesn't mention where, we have a strong feeling that she was hanging out at the Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny. We'd recognize those balconies anywhere.

Another funny picture shows Posh rolling out her carry-on bag out of the hotel room. But this was obviously staged as paparazzi got the pics of the real luggage she brought with her.
