Hey, fashionistas: Did the recession prevent you from jetting over to Milan, London, and Paris for the shows this fall? Well, chin up, kids. There’s always Funkshion Fashion Week in Miami! The four-day event for “progressive, established, and emerging designers to showcase their collections” is now on in South Beach, with much of the action taking place at The Setai.

The hotel is often portrayed as a sedate sanctuary, but anyone staying there between now and Sunday will instead be greeted by Pamela Anderson’s rear. The buxom actress is walking the runway for her fashion line, A* Muse by Richie Rich, and if recent shows in New Zealand and L.A. are any indication, there could be flashing. (Rich, by the way, says the line is designed for the "fun, sexy, surfer girl from Malibu meets Andy Warhol." So, yeah—Pammy.) Also, we hope she leaves her child fashion slave behind.

Pam and Tommy Reunite To Ring in New Years at Luxor

Despite the craptastic "Believe" show from Criss Angel, not all hope is lost at the Luxor. The hotel just put on sale tickets for the New Years Eve bash at LAX which will be hosted by the most famous couple from the mid-1990s, Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee, who are reuniting to usher in 2009.

Tickets cost $200 a piece and if you want bottle service, well that's a heck of a lot more. Interestingly, room rates at the Luxor are not that much more than the party ticket, starting at $287 a night for Dec. 31st.

Sit down. Please. Unfortunately, what we're about to tell you does not appear to be a joke.

Various sources are reporting on this dark, dark day that Pamela Anderson -- yes, She of the Giant Breasts and PETA Ads -- is venturing into the international hotel business to build an eco-friendly hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Friends, there are times when the jokes just write themselves. This is not one of those times because this is like, not even funny.

Celebrities at Hotels: The Trainwreck Edition

When will we stop being obsessed with celebrities? The answer? Probably never. There is just so much good shizz going on right now. And fortunately for us, celebs keep acting out in hotels. So here's a healthy dose of who did what where when and why. Well, maybe not why. Celebrities are all pretty crazy.

· Jamie Foxx: More news on The Florida Room inside the Delano Hotel, Jamie Foxx did celebrate his 40th birthday there. Yawn. Wait...ooh...Urkel was there!

· Tara Reid: Suffering from drunkorexia or just the regular anorexia? Either way, first she kicked it at a hotel pool in Australia. Then she kicked it a pool in Bali. In between that, fell down.

· Pamela Anderson: The Baywatch babe is way past her prime but she's still hosting the New Years Eve party at PURE at Caesars. She will probably celebrate her recent divorce party there too. Or not. Or yes. No, not. Hmm...we'll have to wait and see.

· Britney Spears: Speaking of trainwrecks, Vegas, and marriages, Britney Spears might elope in Sin City to creepy man with creepier goatee, Sam Lufti.

· Paris Hilton: The former prison inmate actually stays at Hilton Hotels. This time she hit up a London Hilton with 18 bags of luggage.

Viva Vegas: Virgin Airlines Parties with 'The Hills' and More at Tryst

Skip on over to Jaunted's Virgin America coverage now.

Baby bro Jaunted was on hand to witness the Virgin America party at Tryst (our fave nightclub ever) inside The Wynn Las Vegas.

There to celebrate the airline's virgin flight from SFO to LVS was VA honcho Richard Branson, Carmen Electra (who looked sad), LC and Audrina from The Hills, Richard Branson and newlyweds Pamela Anderson and Rick "Scum" Salomon (her nickname for him, not ours.)

Also on hand were the Virgin America pixies who might be nice but they are pretty scary-looking in the pictures. Sadly, no one used the stripper pole except some poor dancers that VA hired and no one paid attention to. One day, that pole will be ours. Oh yes, it will be ours.
