The Orchard Hotel in San Fran is Offering 10 Nights for Just $1,010

If you are among the superstitious who think that Sunday's perfectly numbered 10/10/10 date, which happens every 100 years, has special meaning, this hotel deal is for you. Or if you just like hotel deals in general, we think you'll like this one as well.

San Francisco's Orchard Hotel is monopolizing on the magic-numbered date for its Once in a Decade Deal.

Okay, this kinda made our head spin, so follow carefully: To mark its 10th anniversary, the hotel will hold a 10-day sale starting on 10/10/10 where you can book 10 nights—usable any time—for $1,010; the package includes 10 minibar coupons, a $10 discount on minibar treats, and 10 $10 coupons for the onsite Daffodil Restaurant.

That's a lot to process but it has us excited because it's so similar to JetBlue's All You Can Jet Pass. Could this be the start of more All You Can Sleep passes? We hope so!

Orchard Hotels in San Fran Also Offering Rooms for a $1

Yesterday, we were all excited over the $1 hotel rooms being offered at the Alexander Inn but we would have to find a way to get to Philly all the way from the West Coast (sadly, there's no 50 cent Megabus from LA to Philly.) Today, our prayers have been answered as we just learned the Orchard Hotels in San Francisco will begin offering $1 guestroom starting on April Fools day.

Starting at 10am on Wednesday, April 1 guests can visit the Orchard Hotels website and reserve a $1 room with the promotional code "Fool!". Only one "foolish" room is available per reservation per night. Additional rooms begin at $159 per night. The two Orchard Hotels are the original Orchard Hotel at and the eco-friendly Orchard Garden Hotel (pictured above), both which are on Bush Street.

The package also includes a complimentary morning newspaper and WiFi.

While the deal is very real, the chances are tough. Each hotel only has one $1 room per night. And once the 60 allotted rooms are sold-out, the package will be closed. So set your alarms for April 1st at 10am to get the $1 room deal. And of course, tell us if it worked or not.

The Orchard Hotels in San Francisco include the original Orchard Hotel on Bush Street and it's green LEED-certified sister, the Orchard Garden Hotel.

And now the two hotels have announced deals for their sister hotels in nearby Monterery, Calif. Orchard Hotels is offering special introductory rates from Sunday through Friday until October 31st at the following Inns of Monterey.

· Hotel Pacific: $189 for a junior suite with a complimentary bottle of wine.

· Monterey Bay Inn: $219 for a harbor view room with a complimentary bottle of wine.

· Spindrift Inn: $199 for Cannery Row View and $269 for a full Ocean View.

· Victorian Inn: $139 introductory rate (mention promotional code "Orchard.")
