Having decided that a pop star who passes out at a nightclub party is a good thing, the Luxor Hotel has hired Britney Spears to be the guest of honor at the opening of their new nightclub, LAX (a spin-off of the Hollywood club.)
ET Online reports:
Club promoters tell ET exclusively that the pop princess is confirmed to make an appearance at the new club, which opens its doors to the public for the first time on Friday, August 31.
We can only hope she pulls a repeat performance of the New Year's Eve party at Pure where she reportedly passed out. That's the only way people are gonna start talking about the Luxor again.

The Cove at Atlantis is a 600-suite luxury hotel within the family-oriented Atlantis Resort which recently opened on March 28 in the Bahamas. What sets Cove apart from the rest of the lodgings at Atlantis is its "grownup taste", meaning that it's adults only, the room prices are higher (suites start at $735 in the high season), there's a swank restaurant by celeb chef Bobby Flay and a hotspot from Cain, who own the storied Cain outposts in Manhattan and the Hamptons.
Cain at the Cove is an outdoor pool and beach club that will feature:
22 fully-staffed cabanas with personal butlers and include plasma TVs, private bathrooms with shower, and a stocked mini-bar chose by the guest. The Cain experience will include international DJs, entertainment and the service it is known for in NYC.
During the day, Cain will serve "daytime elixirs" that will cure you of last night's hangover so you can keep the party going. Also, available will be spa coordinators to set up any spa treatments you might want. So pretty much anything you can dream up poolside, Cain will try to get for you, so long as it's legal of course. The bad news is you still have to wait until May for the pool club to offically open.
As for staying at the hotel, there's no discounted introductory rates but they are offering the fourth night free when you book three nights and the going rate for this spring is $660. The offer is good until April 30th. But beware, construction still abounds according to recent guest reports.
