Is the Doubletree the 'Greatest Hotel' in Niagara Falls?

HotelChatter Maven Melena 10 seems to think so. She sends in her review of the Doubletree Hotel Niagara Falls.
Being a local in Niagara, we try out a new hotel each year on our anniversary. This newer hotel is the best stay we have had in Niagara.
The Doubletree experience was amazing from the start; they give you warm cookies at check-in. The room was spacious, clean and had the best beds I have ever slept on. The hotel has an amazing Aveda spa, and an excellent restaurant - my husband had the lamb, I had the salmon - excellent. There is a really neat little art gallery and a Starbucks. Take it from a local, this is the best option in Niagara.
Ah...those famous Doubletree cookies will win anyone over but we were surprised to hear about an Aveda spa inside a Doubletree. As for the restaurant, that would be the casual dining spot Buchanans. But the hotel also has a little cafe with a funny name--The Moose & Squirrel Coffee & Pub. How very...Canadian?

Room with a Killer View: The Real View of Niagara Falls

We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.
While Marriott likes to photoshop in their view of the Niagara Falls, reviews of the Embassy Suites give us a better idea of what to expect of your room view.
TripAdvisor member K8Brit took the picture and gives a pretty detailed review of the place which is a standard Embassy Suites. However, not all room views are equal:
After checking out the room, we called down and took them up on the upgrade, well worth the difference in price. In our original room, you had a view of the building next door, with a bit of the top of the Horseshoe Falls behind the roof below you, if you stood in the corner of the window. Our second room had a wonderfully complete clear view of both the falls, which we could even see from the bathroom.
