New Years Eve Hotels: Morgans Hotels in NYC

The three Morgans Hotel Group in NYC are gearing up for their New Year's Eve parties, and each promises to be booze soaked. But surprisingly, only the event at the Hudson Hotel promises to be loud and sloppy.
At the Hudson, $225 gets you general admission to what they say are three venues. Really, they're just different bars at the hotel, but whatever. Tickets are good for a four-hour open bar (starting at 9), two-hour tapas bar (starting at 10) and the obligatory champagne toast. A hundred bucks more per person gets you a table for four and bottle service.
New Year's at Morgans centers around the restaurant, Asia de Cuba. A four-course menu and a bottle of champagne is $175 per person, and the second seating happens at 8:45.
The Royalton is hosting a "semi-formal" open bar (9-1 am) with hors d'oeuvres and midnight toast. General admission is $195. If you're not in the falling-down-drunk mood, the midnight seating at Brasserie 44 is $135, not including beverages.
