"Buy One, Get One Free" offers usually refer to things like magazine subscriptions and ice cream sundaes. In the case of Mexico's Rosewood Mayakobá resort the promotion is a "Buy Two Nights, Get the Third Free" deal at a hotel we once described as "a dash of Venice" with "a bit of Disney's Jungle Cruise, a shot of the Hobbit's Shire, and a touch of Tatooine mixed in for good measure."

Included in the offer, which is valid through December 15th and requires you to stay two-consecutive nights to get that third freebie, is daily breakfast. That early morning "extra" doesn't seem like much of a bonus, though, considering that ye old Continental Breakfast is standard fare at many hotels.

Room With A Killer View: Al Cielo Hotel Beach View

We are suckers for a room with a killer view. We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

Al Cielo is a four room rustic beach boutique hotel is right on Xpu-Ha Beach in Mexico's Riviera Maya. Many Xpu-Ha beach visitors don't hear about this place until they take stroll on the beach and see the view afforded to those lucky few who stay here. The most common comment from these Al Cielo oglers? "Next time we go to Mexico we are staying there".

Meanwhile, the folks who actually are staying in one of the four rustic beachfront rooms can't wait until the gawkers move along, so they can enjoy views uncluttered views like the one above from the comfort of their bed.
