Valentine's Day Last Minute Hotel Scramble

Oops. You've almost really blown it, but luckily you're reading this today and you can save your relationship by remembering to find a last-minute deal for a romantic night for two. Try some of these:

Newport, Rhode Island is home to The Chanler which has a plenty-of-extras Valentine's Day package: two nights, a massage, a hot chocolate with Grand Marnier on your balcony when you arrive, and plenty of chocolate (oh, and other food groups too) from the restaurant; all this chocolate (and the resulting pounds on the hips) for $650 each. Besides, if these weather forcasts are correct, you might even get luckyy enough to find yourself snowed in for an extra day or so.

On the other side of the country, the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, California, has a package priced at $699pp for two nights, and they throw in champagne on arrival, breakfast and a set of lotions from the resort's spa.

And finally, if you want to hit the dazzling lights with your special Valentine, try the Las Vegas MGM Grand which has a deal throughout February for $1135 per couple, including a night in a Celebrity Spa Suite, a swanky spa treatment for both of you, dinner, show tickets and VIP passes for some funky nightlife.
