It’s sales time! And just when the shop ones are trailing off (unless you’re in the mood for everyone else’s rejects), London’s Landmark Hotel has started its own sale.

It may not be quite on the same scale of The Hoxton’s £1 offer, but it’s still not bad – stay before 30 April, and you can get a weekend room for £140 ($200). At £229 ($327), weekdays are a bit more, but you’re still saving half the price on the official rates – although the 20% off spa treatments that they’re also offering could gobble up your spare change…

The sale ends on Sunday, so move quick. After all, you wouldn’t want to end up in the Cromwell Crown…
