Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg, star of Bravo's Million Dollar Listing recently completed a trip to India. One of the stops on his luxury hotel itinerary? The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai which has rebounded incredibly well after 2010's terrorist attack. Here's his elevator review of the place:
If the English dictionary had one picture to describe the word sophistication, The Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai would be upfront and center. Few hotels in the world really hit that nail on the head. The George V in Paris, The St. Regis in New York, The Peninsula Hong Kong all have it down, and now that I have stayed in the Taj Mumbai, I realize why it has stood the test of time.

It was a starry night atop the Mr. C Hotel In Los Angeles on Wednesday night as celebs, travel folk and the usual LA party eye candy feted the Leading Hotels of the World's 85th anniversary. Yup, LHW is the same age as the Oscars.
And what better way to celebrate the joint birthday than by spotlighting movies shot in hotels? Leading Hotels of the World, of course.
Playing on loop on several flat-screen TVs throughout the party was a video montage of 85 Leading Hotels that have been featured in movies around the world over the past several decades. LHW has even created a new microsite, In the Movies, to show off all their fancy movie set hotels.
Party guests also got into the cinematic spirit by posing for photobooth snaps, sipping on wine cocktails made with Drew Barrymore's Barrymore wine label, taking candy from a movie concession stand and chomping on freshly made popcorn. Naomi Watts, Eva Longoria, Minnie Driver, Michelle Monaghan, Giada deLaurentis and even our own celebrity reviewer Josh Flagg made appearances. Head on over to Conde Nast Traveler, which co-hosted the event, to see more of the party snapshots.
Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg, star of Bravo's Million Dollar Listing recently completed a trip to India. And of course, there were amazing views from his hotel rooms. Here's one of them:
By far, one of the most beautiful pools I have been to was found at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra. The hotel also boasts one of the best views I have ever seen... That of the Taj Mahal. Every room looks out onto the pool, grounds and the magnificent Taj Mahal. Watching the sun rise and set from your room is one of those moments you have to experience in your life. Eat in the Indian restaurant for a wonderful experience.
Rates at the Oberoi start at 34,000 Indian rupees a night or about $640 USD. If you want to travel like Josh, you better get to selling some luxury real estate in Beverly Hills then!
Over the summer vacation, I took a three week trip to Hawaii and yes, in case you are wondering, I do still work.I just happen to do all my traveling at one time, and the rest of the year I am in the office.
And on this trip, I did something very cool which I had done once when I was a little kid, and was surprised to find out I could still do. I went stargazing, the real kind, not the Hollywood kind.
When I was a little boy, I used to stay with my parents at the famous Kahala Hotel in Waikiki. I was really excited when my partner Colton and I went to Hawaii to go back to the hotel and see if it was still as glamorous as it was when I was a child. And the former Mandarin Oriental property is just that!
It kind of reminds me of what Waikiki was in the 1950s (not that I was around to see it) but one can imagine. The mid-century building is totally refreshed and redone yet still has a very cool 1950s vibe.
What the property offers which I have never seen anywhere else is a natural lagoon full of dolphins that you can swim with! This is what I used to do when I was little and I wanted to see if the Dolphin Quest program was still going on. Boy is it ever!

Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg, star of Bravo's Million Dollar Listing is back with another listicle. This time he's ranking his favorite hotel spas in Hawaii. Sit back, relax and let Josh rub one out for you.
Since my recent Best Hotel Pools in Italy list, I thought it would be fun to do a Top 10 list of Hotel Spas on my next vacation. Ten massages is quite excessive so we are going to do an abbreviated list just this one time.
Believe it or not, I actually had five massages during my trip to Hawaii and yes...each one was just as wonderful as the next one. I was in Hawaii for nearly three weeks except for the two days I was in New York to film "Watch What Happens Live" before flying all the way back to Hawaii. By the way, traveling 10 hours on a plane for a two-day trip, not so fun, but the filming experience of live TV is well worth it. And of course, I had massages to help me through the jetlag.
Speaking of, here is my list:

Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg is back on TV now with the fifth season of Million Dollar Listing on Bravo. Yet even though he's a jetsetter, Josh is not above staycationing in his hometown of Beverly Hills. And his dog Godzilla always goes along for the fun. After checking out the doggie offerings at the Four Seasons Los Angeles and the Montage Beverly Hills, Josh went to see how the The Beverly Wilshire stacked up.
Scenes for an upcoming movie were filming at my house recently so I had to move out for a while and I decided to take my partner Colton and Godzilla to the The Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel.
We all had a wonderful stay in the hotel which was made infamous in the movie "Pretty Woman." Not only did Colton and I watch the movie on loop but we also reenacted the love-making scene on the piano between Richard Gere and Julia Roberts (joke).
Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg is back on TV now that the fifth season of Million Dollar Listing on Bravo premiered last night. But life isn't all "house" work for Josh. As soon as filming finished, he packed up and resumed his whirlwind travels. Today he returns to his old stomping grounds--Beverly Hills--by staycationing at the Montage.
Colton and I have Godzilla registered as a service dog so we don't even call ahead of time anymore when we bring her on planes or to hotels. When I checked into the Montage Beverly Hills on Friday night, I was delightfully pleased to find in my room a dog bed (which was equally as comfortable as the bed... I actually tried it out... I know most mentally stable people usually do things like that) and they brought her a dog bowl and a bottle of water.

Our resident celebrity hotel hopper, Josh Flagg is about to invade your living rooms again when the fifth season of Million Dollar Listing premieres on Bravo on June 6. But life isn't all "house" work for Josh. As soon as filming finished, he packed up and resumed his whirlwind travels. Now Josh is telling us the Top 10 Hotel Pools in Italy. As you can imagine, each night will cost you at least five hundred Euros. After you decide on a bathing suit, best ring up your favorite sugar daddy.
I just got back from a three and a half week trip to Italy and after staying in 20 different hotels and swimming in 20 different pools, I sat down and compiled a Top 10 List.
I visited all the top locations so I am sure I did not miss any. Below in the following order is my list of the top ten hotel pools in Italy, some of which are among the best in all of Europe
10. Coming in at number ten is Hotel Quisisana in Capri (pictured above). The tiny island of Capri is a 45-minute hydrofoil ride away from the port of Naples (a place which unless there is a gun put to your head, I would recommend you never visit... This wouldn't be so difficult because during the short time I stayed in Napes, I met two people that were held up at gunpoint and one that was run over by a motorcycle. I digress.)
Capri has been known as a jet set location for years and is evident by the number of designer stores located within a three block radius. In fact they have an Hermes store which is the size of a good walk in closet. At the end of the shopping street is the famous Quisisana hotel. The round pool with it's mosaic tile work that reads "I heart Quissi" is a staple of the Italian pool scene.
Be very careful in the rooms however, as the floors are all made of porcelain tile and very easy to slip on (which is evident by the fact that my grandmother slipped and broke her right hip, thus putting an end to our lovely trip and causing her to stay in a hospital on the mainland for two weeks.)
9. Le Sirenuse was made famous when it was featured in "Only You" with Marisa Tomei. Prior to that however it has always been known as a place for the rich and famous to be seen. Book way in advance though as it is a very small hotel. My father gave my mother her wedding ring while staying at this hotel in 1982, only three months after knowing each other, so this place must have a special effect on people.

But life isn't all "house" work for Josh. As soon as filming finished, he packed up and resumed his whirlwind travels. Here's where he prefers to stay in Rome.
I must have stayed in Rome at least a half dozen times over the course of my short-lived life, however i have never really found an extraordinary hotel. The Hassler was nice...fifteen years ago. The St Regis is beautiful...if you don't mind using a flashlight when going out at night.
A block from Via Condoti and a block from Via Veneto, it is in the perfect location. The hotel exudes luxury and just the right amount of charm. The views are extraordinary and the staff is extremely nice and not snooty like at most of the other five star hotels in Rome. If I had my own star-rating system, I'd give the hotel five stars but the views, six stars.
Heading to Rome this summer and want to take up Josh's recommendation? The Hotel Eden's rates start at around 400 Euros a night. If you stay there, let us know how it went!

But life isn't all "house" work for Josh. As soon as filming finished, he packed up and resumed his whirlwind travels. Here's what he thought of the Montage Deer Valley.
Back in March, I had the pleasure of staying at the Montage Deer Valley. It was one of the best ski-in, ski-out hotels I have ever stayed at.
Not only does the hotel have it's own in-house pooch, Monty (short for Montage) and heated outdoor swimming pool, but they also have a firepit blazing everyday from 4 to 5pm a fire pit where all the rich people get together and make s'mores. It's the only place I know where people paying $700 a night for a room get together to roast marshmallows!
The hotel also features it's own bowling alley (see the photo below.) Needless to say, this is a must-stay for a winter getaway.
You can read more on the Montage's indoor bowling alley and Daly's Pub right here!
Once again, our favorite celebrity hotel hopper,Josh Flagg is filling us in on places we'd only dream about staying. Today he reports on the most unusual find at the Four Seasons Park Lane in London.
During my stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Park Lane in London this New Years, I was greatly surprised when I opened the drapes of my terrace and there on my balcony was a putting green. Not only this, but the suite was absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
Pierre Yves Rochon, who also designed the George V in Paris and the Four Seasons Florence headed up the renovation of this hotel which is in my opinion now the best hotel in London, far surpassing the Dorchester! As an avid, but very bad golfer, I was more than happy to putt on "my" green, even if the temperature was 40 degrees outside.
