Not Everyone is in Londontown for the Royal Wedding

Songstress Jennifer Hudson is overseas shacking up at the May Fair in London—and no, it wasn't for the royal wedding. J-Hud has been in town to promote her sophomore album, I Remember Me, and the single of the same name.

The newly svelte star has been rocking form-fitting outfits (see above dress) all around town. She also took some time out of her busy touring schedule to get a mani at the May Fair. Though we're guessing she used the hotel's in-room spa services rather than visit the spa with the rest of the hotel guests.

The good news is you don't have to be a celeb to get in-room spa services at the May Fair. Any guest can simply dial zero and request a spa treatment in their room, including a spray tan. (Hello, Snooki!)

Vogue's Andre Leon Talley Will Fete Jennifer Hudson at The New Morgan

New York's Fashion Week means the intersection of divas, threads, and posing. So what better convergence than Vogue and Dreamgirls?

FashionWeek Daily reports that the magazine's resident big man on campus, Andre Leon Talley, is throwing a New York Fashion Week soiree for big voice, Oscar winner, former American Idol, and Democratic Convention anthem-singing celeb Jennifer Hudson, next Tuesday, September 9.

And he's picked no better place to clink those champagne glasses than inside the Penthouse suite at the recently face-lifted The Morgan Hotel, just a leafy amble from the Conde Nast building and across Bryant Park (although it's for sure guests will arrive in stretches and sedans).

Attendees will get a glimmer of the hotel's big changes -- according to the website, the grand reopening officially launches on September 16th.
