Coolest Hotel Instagram Of The Day Goes To...
The Midtown Manhattan classic property has kicked off their Drink of the Day specials at Henry's Rooftop Bar (which we'll be talking more about tomorrow!).
This cocktail, called The Hemingway Daiquiri is made with 1.5 oz of rum, 1 oz grapefruit juice, and fresh lime juice. It goes perfect with the stunning view of the NYC skyline.
Sounds refreshing, no? Now if only Mother Nature would make up her mind with this weather. We've had our April showers, time for the May flowers and mojitos!

Anna Wintour Departs The Mark in Splendor for Met Gala
Tonight's the night for New York Metropolitan Museum's star-studded, Met Ball. This year's theme is "Punk: Chaos to Couture".
An A-list crowd will be dressed in their finest frocks and suits and descend up the red carpet of the museum's steps to enter what can only be described as the fashion party of the year.
One such bold name will be Vogue's own editrix, Anna Wintour, seen departing from The Mark in a pink floral custom-made Chanel number and sporting her trademark bob.
If you want to a live stream of all the couture wear and stars (Katie Holmes is wearing Calvin Klein), just go to Vogue's website. It'll also be simultaneously streamed on the websites of Moda Operandi, Samsung, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

We think the ketchup art, while potty-mouth language, does sum up this week in a nutshell, and yet, it makes us smile at the same time because we love the sassy!
This patron's burger from the hotel's King's Highway restaurant (an old Denny's), is accompanied by a tall can of Red Stripe beer, which we don't think we've ever seen before--upping the cool factor even more. The $12 Amigo burger comes with bacon onion marmalade, aged cheddar and butter lettuce. Foul-mouthed ketchup is free.

...The W Hotel Bali!
Yesterday, we teased you a bit with how hotels are gearing up for Summer with heat-wave worthy cocktails. Well, there's a place that only really sees summer year-round and knows how to serve up some easy, breezy drinks to soak up the sun. Bragging about their near-perfect weather, the W Hotel Bali just posted an Instagram that will stir envy with all of their followers.
Rooftop bars are cool and very few hotels do them as well as a W, so why not showcase the super hot sun and tropical libations with an over-the-top fabulous shot? We really can't find an answer for that, and we're totally alright with it.
There has to be something that is retro chic about lounging around surrounded by all things paradise, not to mention it makes us want to head back to Bali as soon as we can. With a few warmer days here in the 'nifty fifty', there is a glimmer of hope that Summer is right around the corner and we can find our position at our favorite roof-top hangout. This snap from the tropical island has us hoping the the mercury rises quickly because we might need a healthy does of vitamin D.

We can't lie, we've been a bit jealous these past few days as we see kids of all ages galavanting around for Spring Break. Looking at Instagrams of tots having the time of their lives while we slog at work, longing for those days again.
So, when we saw this in-room tent at the tony Four Seasons Washington, D.C., we just wanted to jump in (and push everyone else under age 10 out) and play!
What comes with this "Camp Out" experience? The tent, hamburgers, and s'mores. And if you want, they'll bring up a Wii and video games, too. How cool is that?
Just makes you want to go all Tom Hanks in "Big", at least for a little while.
Rates for Four Seasons fun starts at a whopping $725per night (blame it on the cherry blossoms).

...Miami's Epic Hotel!
When this Kimpton hotel does a pool party--they do it up right, as you can see. Last night, this benefit party, called "A Sound for All The Senses" was for a cause--to support The Starkey Hearing Foundation. The DJ of the night was none other than "That Deaf Dj", aka Robbie Wilde. Wilde, who's been playing clubs for more than a decade, has been 90% deaf since age 11. He didn't let his disability detract him from his love of music, and he has soared to, well, epic heights in the DJ world.
Apparently his music not only inspires people to get on the dance floor, but groove in the pool as well.

..The Montage Beverly Hills and its view of Beverly Drive.
While the Central and East Coast are shaking in their boots wondering if/what kind of weather monstrosity is going to hit in the next few days (it's March, right?), this West Coast cutie is standing proud on the corner saying "Snow who? Snow what?"
The Montage knows not of such snowy thangs in Cali-for-ni-a. And we just love this pretty pic they posted on Intagram boasting all their hotness. Happy New Year from Shangri-La Hotels!
Of course, a Hong Kong-based hotel portfolio would get a little loud about the Chinese New Year. It's the most important holiday in, not only the Chinese culture, but also a good portion of Asia. And with the number of hotels Shangri-La has opened in China, it's pretty fitting.
Shangri-La has welcomed the 'Year of the Snake' via their Instagram account. While the name sounds vicious, there's nothing poisonous about this serpent—he's made of flowers coiled around a tree in one of their properties.
Officially, Hong Kong celebrates the holiday starting today, the 11th, but many other Asian countries take part in the holiday from the 9th to the 13th. With a wealth of customs that accompany the special time of year, we can only hope for the traditional red envelope filled with monatary gifts when checking into our hotel on the New Year.

Coolest Hotel Instagram Of The Day Goes To...
...the Sunset Tower Hotel.
What can only be described as one of the most thrilling events of last night's Golden Globe awards was President Bill Clinton taking to the stage and introducing a clip from "Lincoln", the nominated film from director Steven Spielberg.
It was apparently an unexpected appearance, and we're certain there were more than a few swooning ladies (and men) in the Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom.
So, we're even more delighted to come across this Instagram photo from the hotel saying "Proud to have Former Pres Clinton with us after the #goldenglobes last night."
Normally the STH is home to Vanity Fair's post-Oscar party, so we're not sure if there was a post GG soiree going on, but we're impressed with the prez's choice of digs (it's Jennifer Aniston's go-to) as it's full of character, moderately priced at around $300 a night, and a pretty class act, to boot.
