OMG! Omni Hotels Have a Staff of Teen Concierges

Summer's here and school's out which means your summer travel plans may involve schlepping the little ones along with you. Same goes for new parents who aren't quite ready to compromise their jetsetting lifestyles. While it definitely requires more planning and more organization, a dream vacation can still be had. All this week, we'll be looking at a few hotels that are making it not just fun but easier for families to have a summer trip to remember.
So far this week, we've talked about what hotels have been doing to pamper babies and kiddies but what if your kids are a little bit older? What if they are in the dreaded teenage stage? Just chill, Mom and Dad because Omni Hotels totes has the answer.
This summer, Omni has kicked off their "Teen Connection" program where teen guests at select Omni Hotels can get suggestions for activities to do during their stay from a real-life fellow teen who is in fact the hotel's official Teen Concierge.

Yet Another Hotel Catering to Teens: The Rancho Bernardo Inn
This summer, teen hotel offerings are hotter than the Jonas brothers. Places like the Four Seasons Marrakech and Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain are expanding their summertime programming to attract teens. Rancho Bernardo Inn is the latest to cater to the pre-pubescent crowd with teen-only amenities like golf cart dive-in movies and slope sledding.
Teens have their own movie night Saturdays from 8 to 10 p.m. on the hotel's driving range. They get chauffeured to the screening by golf cart. Unfortunately, teens aren't allowed to drive the carts, which would be so much cooler if it weren't for that whole pesky license requirement. The PG and PG-13 films include titles like Megamind, The Sandlot and The Pink Panther.

Even The New Four Seasons in Marrakech is Catering to Teens

Good news for jetsetters who were crushed to hear that the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech was not to be this summer--The Four Seasons Marrakech is available instead!
True to their word back in March, The Four Seasons has opened their 140-room resort along with its five restaurants, two pools (one for families and one for adults) and expansive spa.
But perhaps most interesting (to us anyways) is that the Four Seasons Marrakech is totally down with the burgeoning teen lounges trend! Except they are calling their lounge The Young Adult Centre.
Teenagers will enjoy our Young Adult Centre, located on the lower level of the Hotel, where they will find movies and video games such as Wii and PlayStation. The experience begins at check-in, when guests from 13 to 17 years of age receive a welcome kit, including a weekly activity schedule.

It's Official: Teens Have Cooler Hotel Lounges Than Grown-Ups

NOMG. Teens totally have it way better than adults at hotels these days. The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas kicked off the teen lounge trend with their teens-only nightclub, Crush, followed by the JW Starr Pass in Tucson with their teen lounge, Blur. Now, teens vacationing in Colorado have their own place to chill away from the lame adults.
Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa at Beaver Creek Mountain will launch 7430, a new program for teenagers ages 12 to 16 on July 1.
The program offers teens a parent- and little-kid-free zone where they can hang out. The centerpiece of it is the Whitewater Lounge, where for $20-a-day cover charge they can play video games on the Xbox Kinect system, watch a movie or go online on one of the computers.

Atlantis is Starting Kids Early on Their Club Habits with New Teen Club, Crush

"Your room or my room? Oh yeah, I forgot my parents are here too."
The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas has made no effort to hide its love for the teen crushes of the day from Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers and our fave, today's resident heartbreaker, Justin Bieber.
But merely inviting the latest teen dream to visit and perform a concert while selling teen-themed packages to guests wasn't enough for Atlantis. So they've gone and created an $11 million nightclub especially for teens. And it's called, Crush.
Designed by renowned architect and interior designer, Jeffrey Beers, the 14,000 square-foot mod-inspired space boasts; an interactive Internet Lounge complete with multi-touch computers and surface tables with photo editing and publishing interfaced to Facebook; a Gaming Stadium boasting a 22-foot floor-to-ceiling Gaming Tree and private cabanas stocked with state-of-the-art technology including the newly launched Microsoft flagship motion sensor product Kinect for Xbox 360; and a 1,500 square-foot Dance Club complete with multi-purpose video walls, performance stage, VIP sections and doormen all worthy of paparazzi.
