More Falling Glass From a Hotel, This Time at The Four Seasons Seattle

Just when we thought the falling glass trend was behind us, some windows have shattered again, this time at the Four Seasons Seattle on Sunday. And much like what happened with the W Austin the loose window panes were actually from the residences that are attached to the hotel. But what's worse here is that this is the third time windows have fallen from the building since July.

Thankfully, no one's been hurt or injured but the glass has cracked the glass awning at the entrance of the hotel and a car was slightly damaged.

Needless to say the hotel has finally gotten the idea that all 300 of the tempered-glass windows need to be replaced. The hotel's GM told the Seattle Times:

Hotel Employee Arrested for Rape at Wyndham Garden Hotel in New York

When we rounded up five ways your safety at hotels can be compromised last month, we were thinking of ways to protect yourself from outside intruders. But perhaps we should have included a tip to be wary of the hotel staff as well.

The NY Post reports that a bartender at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Chelsea tried to rape a guest after getting a hold of her room key.

Manuel Gomez-Rodriguez, 30, met the 27-year-old woman early Friday morning in the bar at the hotel's on-site restaurant, San Rocco, where he mixes drinks, sources said. Gomez-Rodriguez, who was not working at the time, and the woman chatted and then decided to go to another Manhattan bar, the sources said. After hanging out for a while, the victim went back to her room alone and fell asleep.
