The queen of pop pops, locks, and twerks her way from an in-room gym to a fireworks-filled Manhattan rooftop in her new video for "Bitch I'm Madonna," which hit the Internet in all its glitter-packed glory today. (Okay, technically it dropped yesterday as a 24-hour exclusive on Tidal. But who's using that? #SorryJayZ.)
The colorful clip is the third from her "Rebel Heart" album, and it's definitely the best hotel party we've never been invited to. Check out the video. Does the place look familiar? Because if you're a hotel nerd, it should.
Backed by a bevy of backup dancers and celeb cameos (like Rita Ora, Chris Rock, Alexander Wang and the song's DJ-producer, Diplo) Madonna winds her way through the 17th floor suite at The Standard, High Line, temporarily transformed into a thumping haven of vogue dancers and sock puppets. (Yes, sock puppets.)
Then it's upstairs to the hotel's celeb-fave nightspot, the Boom Boom Room (or as it is officially known, Top of the Standard — Zzz!) for 360-degree views, a rap verse from Nicki Minaj, and breakdancing courtesy of Madonna's youngest son, David. (Her older son, Rocco, cameos as a DJ.) Finally, the diva hits the hotel rooftop for a final crowd-surfing throw down. CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP 2015, Y'ALL.
The Standard, High Line is no stranger to music video shoots; it's here that Beyonce filmed a clip from her last album too. (It's also here that she, Jay-Z and Solange got into that little elevator scuffle, but that's another story.) And in fact, a pose-striking Beyonce is one of several other stars (like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Kanye West) who pop up to lip sync that refrain — "Bitch I'm Madonna" — in deference to the pop queen who paved the way. (Even some adorable "Like a Virgin"-attired little girls sass it up in homage to the Material Girl's influence.)
Crank it loud at your next hotel bash. If you live for the love of the party — and don't care what others think — you're Madonna, too. Even if you can't afford that penthouse rate.

Thanks to the Almighty miracle that is YouTube, we could spend all day just browsing clips of featherbrained folks doing weird things in hotel rooms (like watching Cuban rapper Pitbull get it on with a hot female plumber in Miami's Epic Hotel—not the kind of thing you see every day).
But to make things easier, we've whittled down the selection to just five videos, showing the best of what YouTube-broacast hotel shenanigans have to offer. Click below to see for yourself!
What is up with Miami and bad rap videos? First, there was Pitbull's "Hotel Room Service" at the EPIC Hotel. Then John Legend, Kanye and Consequence filmed an unexciting video at The Fontainebleau. And now we have Rick Ross and Robin Thicke b-boying it all over the Viceroy Miami and the Icon Brickell complex with their new video, "Lay Back."
Everywhere they go in the video, there are skimpy girls in bikinis and high heels--chilling at the Viceroy's super long pool, doing a sexy strut in the spa, getting cozy in a (faux) guestroom and making out in the screening room.
The song is alright but even though we love Robin Thicke, he looks like Justin Timberlake's "D-ck in a Box" and "Mother Lover" character, just without the goatee and the 90s clothing. Seriously, what is he doing in this video? Cheese alert. However, we will admit that the video shows off the Viceroy Miami's best features--the jaw-dropping views of The Biscayne Bay.
Since Lionel Richie's video still seems to be the defacto measurement device for bad music videos, we have to say that Robin Thicke and Rick Ross' terrible video is better that Lionel's. But not by much.
A tipster sent us this video saying, "Pretty good song but really bad video shot at Fontainebleau." I'ma let you finish, but normally we'd say any video with John Legend in it, has to be good. But this music video for Consequence's song, "Whatever You Want," featuring Kanye and John Legend makes Pit Bull's video for "Hotel Room Service" (filmed at the EPIC Hotel) look like an Emmy-winner.
The boys don't even make good use of the Fontainebleau property. There are some pool scenes and some LIV nightclub shots but really it's just girls in trying-to-be-sexy one-piece bathing suits and extra long ponytails gyrating around. No suites, no room service, no mini-bar sex kits.
The John Legend bit on the beach, however, doesn't disappoint. And at least the video is way better than Lionel Richie's.
Oh lordy. If you've been shopping in Forever21 lately, then you've probably heard the annoying new song from the rapper Pitbull called "Hotel Room Service." The song is just about doing it in a hotel room. Seriously. And Pitbull will get his girl whatever he wants--sort of redefining the definition of hotel room service. (But does he tip his room service waiters?)
Anyways, the video was filmed in Miami at The EPIC Hotel, of all places.
Let this video serve as a default video tour for the hotel (especially since they wouldn't let us film anything when we toured the place). You mostly see Lionel making hand gestures around the rooftop pool area but you also get a glimpse of what it's like to arrive at the hotel, kick it by the pool, dine and drink at the Bazaar but sadly, there are no shots of the guest rooms.
Also making a shout-out is Akon, which truthfully excites us more than the appearance of Lionel. Sorry, Nicole Richie, but it's true.
