It's the day after Halloween and many of you are probably nursing a wicked Halloween party hangover and/or sugar crash. So we'll make this post super easy for you by giving you some snapshots of 7 hotels that dressed up for Halloween yesterday. We know there's way more of you out there so if you want to send along your fun staff costumes, please do so.
The Refinery Hotel, New York: Staffers got sexy for the hotel's Penthouse Freakshow Rooftop Costume Party.
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, Hollywood, Fla.: The marketing department dressed up as different characters from the musical Grease.
Halloween is less than 48 hours away and if you've been putting off putting together a costume, we've got some easy, DIY but most importantly, hotel-inspired costume ideas. (Yes, we're really that hotel nerdy.)
Sadly, we didn't have enough time to put these costumes together on our own so you'll have to use your powers of imagination to visualize what they will look like. Got some other good ideas for hotel-inspired get-ups? Share them in comments below!
1. Hotel Housekeeper. Consider this the alternative to the sexy French maid costume. Instead of a corset and an extremely short tutu, put on a pair of matching tops and bottoms (pajama sets in solid colors will work) and carry around a pail of cleaning supplies. You can also wear a back brace for an added "real life" effect. And of course, you will have the liberty to bust in on someone when they're in the bathroom. All you have to do is knock and say, "Housekeeping" and then enter.
2. Crappy Hotel WiFi. This one is super easy to DIY. Get a white t-shirt and a black permanent marker. Copy the WiFi signal often found in the top right corner of your computer onto the shirt. But only color in the bottom two lines to indicate poor signal strength. Then write "Hotel WiFi" above it and then "$19.99 Will Be Charged To Your Guest Room" below it.
