Mais Oui! The Peninsula New York Is Launching A Monthly Rooftop French Film Series

We know where we'll be next Monday night—and it won't be at home spying on our old man neighbor. Instead, we'll be at Peninsula New York, watching a film about neighbors getting spied on.
Amelie, one of our all-time favorites, will be shown as part of a new outdoor French cinema series taking place at Salon De Ning's West Terrace.
Meaning, yes, a French-themed film screening at a Chinese-influenced bar in the middle of New York City. But hey—a view's a view! We happened to visit the hotel's sun terrace, two floor below, last fall, and have to admit, we liked what we saw.

Crosby Street Hotel Got Taken Over By the Mad Men Premiere (And No, We Weren't Invited Either)

Believe it or not, the Crosby Street Hotel's screening room once in a while gets used for something other than weekly Sunday night film club gatherings. Like on Monday night, when a glitzier-than-thou crowd showed up for the season premiere of Mad Men, which the rest of us won't get to watch for another four days.
This now brings our itinerary of stops on the unofficial Man Men Worldwide Hotel Tour to a grand total of five! So far, we've counted Roosevelt New York (where Don Draper lives in Season 2), The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimare and the Millenium Biltmore in LA (the show filmed inside both hotels), Soho Hotel (where Jon Hamm got a little racy during a recent newspaper interview), and now, the Crosby Street Hotel.
