We seriously hope this hotel is investing in some good black-out shades.

The Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown LA is about to undergo a billion dollar rebuild, financed randomly by Korean Air, and they have just won approval from the city to put trippy digital billboards all over the building.

Four Seasons Moscow Suffers from Gansevoort Billboard-itis

December 10, 2007 at 9:25 AM | by | Comments (0)

In yesterday's article about the new luxury culture of Moscow, The NY Times pointed out a billboard for a Rolex watch that hangs off the side of the city's upcoming Four Seasons hotel.

Instantly, this reminded us of the Gansevoort Hotel and their little billboard controversy. But it doesn't seem to bother the insanely rich people in Moscow:

AS a summer sun arcs slowly over Red Square, a hum of activity echoes throughout the city's heart. Behind a high scaffolding hung with a massive Rolex billboard, grinding power tools herald the construction of a Four Seasons hotel. Not to be outdone, work teams across the street hustle to complete an enormous Ritz-Carlton hotel in time for its inauguration gala.

We are pretty sure you won't have to fear a neighborhood restaurant cockblocking your dinner reservations if you are a guest at either one of these hotels.
