Awards season is in full swing and no one is happier than Los Angeles Hotels who will not only see a ton of celebrities at their properties but (hopefully) a big boost in occupancy levels as well.
Fortunately, you don't have to know someone who knows someone to get in on the festivities. Here are a few ways to celebrate the awards season madness without booking a hotel room.
· Mondrian Los Angeles: The Sunset Strip hotel has partnered with stylehaüs, the first member's only clothing boutique and styling service. For the entire month of February, the hotel and stylehaüs will operate the Red Carpet Room, a pop-up boutique store that will sell seriously exclusive, high-end merchandise such as Lanvin gowns and Philip Pres diamond jewelry. Hotel guests are given VIP access to the boutique and complimentary half-hour styling consulations. The general public can request appointments by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org

J-Hud gets warmed up at the Beverly Hilton before her Aretha tribute.
Last night's Grammys gave us some great performances—Lady Gaga—and some missteps—Xtina almost falling on her face. Of course, it also means there was tons of hotel action, since the music industry swarmed Los Angeles for the awards ceremony and the bashes that come along with it.
· Celebs came out for Clive Davis and the Recording Academy's Pre-Grammy Gala at the Beverly Hilton. Cee Lo Green—before donning his peacock suit—R. Kelly, Glee's Matthew Morrison and Jennifer Hudson performed, while peeps like Katy Perry, John Mayer and Miley Cyrus also attended, according to MTV.

Views of Downtown L.A. from the rooftop of The Standard
Awards season has hit its stride in Los Angeles, ushering an even greater influx of A-list celebs, parties, and traffic jams that are already all-too-common in the entertainment capital of the world. It's also an immensely popular time to travel to the city, meaning hotels, especially those luxurious playgrounds for young and rich US Weekly regulars are more packed than usual.
This weekend's Grammy awards are taking place at the gargantuan Staples Center, and there's still time to book it to La-La Land in hopes of seeing Taylor or GaGa or Beyonce (cue heart palpitations and OMG-ing). Rather than try to find rooms at Chateau Marmont, the Roosevelt, or other West Hollywood/Hollywood hotspots, we opted to do some research into what's going on Downtown, where the awards are being held.
While we had trouble keeping our TV's tuned to the Grammy awards last night (there are only so many shots of Miley's face we can take), LA area hotels were enjoying yet another influx of big-spendin', attention-grabbin' celebs in and around their properties for the various pre and post-Grammy bashes.
Prior to the awards on Saturday, the Beverly Hilton saw some celeb action when the stars came out for Clive Davis' 30th anniversary party. According to reports, Usher was scheduled to perform but had to cancel due to an illness in the family, so Josh Groban and Whitney Houston (seriously), Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson (with Barry Manilow!) and Bill Maher were the big performers. The guest list ran the gamut from the Jonas Brothers to Kanye, who allegedly apologized for his charming rant at last year's Grammys.
Last night at the At the brand new SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, EMI Music's big Grammy after party was thrown in conjunction with Stand Up For a Cure. FOXNews.com lists the slew of celebs on hand: Coldplay's Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Sean Stewart, and Chris Tucker.
And finally, a tipster from the Mondrian LA gave us a heads up about what went down at the hotel last night:
Janelle Monae performed an incredible set at SKYBAR at Mondrian in LA last night. Her performance was soulful, energetic and alluring; ending with her diving in the pool and climbing the tree in the outdoor venue. Tony from No Doubt stated that her performance was "legendary" and will be talked about for years to come.
Also in attendance: Janelle Monae, Tony from No Doubt, Questlove, Grandmaster Flash, Murs, Saul Williams and Talib Kweli. Yes, Grandmaster Flash is still hitting the Grammy party circuit. Amazing.

We're not so sure America really cares about big awards ceremonies anymore. Every year, the ratings seem to drop for the Emmy Awards, the Oscars, the Grammys and even the Super Bowl. But in Los Angeles, big events like these are the lifeline for area hotels.
We already knew that hotels were rolling out the red carpet for the Oscars but before the Oscars, comes the Grammys. And the younger hotels of LA will be seeing some Grammy action. People has the scoop on the parties like the EMI Publishing party that will take place at the just-opened SLS Hotel. (Awww, baby's first Grammy party!)
[N]ominees like Katy Perry and country heavyweights Lady Antebellum will party for a good cause at their UV Vodka-sponsored bash benefiting Stand Up For a Cure. Proceeds from an artist-autographed guitar auction go to the charity, a nonprofit that produces benefit concerts for lung cancer research and patient care.
Also seeing some action will be the W Hotel Westwood where Nelly is performing a set at the Whisky Blue bar and Akon will be holding his own sort of post-Grammy celebration here.
