Enjoy The Game With These Hotel Super Bowl Party Set-Ups
Super Bowl parties shouldn't be hard to find in hotel lobbies and bars across the country, but we wanted to take a look at a lesser thought of approach to watching the Big Game: Hanging out in your hotel room.
We've found many hotels offering in-room Super Bowl packages and deals, usually surrounding the booking of a suite. While you know full well we'll never pass up a social event, we did the lazy man's dirty work and dug up a sample of such opportunities. Turns out, staying in your room isn't as lame as it sounds!
Four Seasons Hotel, Philadelphia: We'll be honest--it was the cheesesteak spring rolls that got our attention, and even better--you don't have to have a special room to enjoy them. The in-room package is available to all guests and includes four local Philadelphia beers, 12-piece BBQ wings, chips and dips, and the cheesesteak spring rolls for $40. That's a pretty good amount of food for a decent price. The hotel's proximity to the Ben Franklin Parkway, the Art Museum, and the Barnes' Exhibit give you plenty of opportunities to explore without straying too far before kickoff.

Special Butler at The Four Seasons Santa Fe Will Light Your Fire

Daylight Savings Time is in effect in the US, which means it gets darker faster, playing mind with us. We’re ready for jimjams and bed at, like 5pm, man. No bueno.
So, we heard about the Fireplace Butler at the new Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado in Santa Fe, at just the right time—when we felt like getting all cozy and snuggly (btw, where is our Snuggie anyway? Time to get that badboy out).
Ack, focus! Here’s how it works, every casita room at the resort has an interor and exterior fireplace, so all you have to do is push a button, and the Fireplace Butler (a free service!) will arrive wearing his rugged gear (red flannel hat and all) hauling a burlap bag of tools. Ooh. Tools.

That's right, September 13 has been designated as a day to bow down to the chocolate gods—and who are we to argue? The Bristol Lounge at the Four Seasons Boston is toeing the line and going choc-mad—will you?

Coming Soon: The Most Scenic Place to Take a Dip in Wailea
We just spent a ridiculously relaxing week on Maui but we were able to do some hotel snooping while we there. We have oodles to report on the Hawaii hotel scene, but at this very moment, we’re most excited about the July 10th debut of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea’s new infinity-edged swimming pool.
When we site inspected the hard hat area hole in the ground this past weekend, it looked like it had a ways to go, but Director of Marketing, Mark Simon told us that after several deadline extensions, what’s being dubbed as the "Serenity Pool" would finally be ready for hotel guests right after the 4th of July holiday weekend.
We sure hope so, because the weather was beyond perfect while we were there (as if there’s really ever a bad time to go to Hawaii weather-wise), and we’d hate to see summer vacationers miss out on what’s going to be a truly spectacular, upscale, kid-free pool experience.
