Every summer, we do our best to round up our picks for the Best Hotels for Fourth of July Fireworks — they're the ones with the rooftops and the kickass views of whatever fireworks displays are goin' on in some of the biggest cities.

This year, we took our search nationwide and have hand-picked the hotels across the country that we think are offering up the sweetest Independence Day packages, the most patriotic amenities and, of course, very best fireworks views.

Hey there, hot wheels: we already gave you our hotel recommendation for a straight up easy (read: lazy) Manhattan Fourth of July, but for those of you who are looking for a cheaper and more do-it-yourself experience, check out Apple Core Hotels.

July 1st through August 3rd, the Apple Core family (Red Roof Inn Manhattan, La Quinta Manhattan, Ramada Inn Eastside, Comfort Inn Midtown and The Hotel at Times Square) is offering -- get this -- a package that includes a bicycle rental in Central Park.

You can bike to the fireworks! Well, kind of.

We've hit all the major Fourth of July hotspots in the Northeast, but for those of you looking to catch fireworks on the beach, we suggest heading down to Miami.

There's always a stuff going on in the city so there are going to be fireworks all over the place, but we recommend you make the swanky new Regent Bal Harbouryour temporary headquarters for the Fourth of July weekend.

The Churchill Hotel near Dupont Circle and Embassy Row is offering a Fourth of July package with great rates and all the equipment necessary to experience the various patriotic festivites and fireworks on the National Mall.

We love NYC. But really, when we're ready for a relaxing, stress-free vacation, we've gotta admit that the taxis, the planning, the enormous lines for Broadway tickets and the beyond-expensive commutes to and from the airport don't really do it for us.

So! Our Fourth of July pick for NYC is a hotel that will plan our whole holiday weekend for us: the historic Algonquin Hotel in midtown.
